Do you know the story of the autographed Michael Jackson poster that was presented to Dimash in Los Angeles a few years ago? A woman who had toured Neverland was lucky enough to be given an autographed and dated poster by Michael in 1994. Turns out the date that Michael wrote on the poster was the exact day that Dimash was born. That woman caught up with Dimash on his visit to LA and here is the video of the story and of her presenting the poster to Dimash. Dimash is a huge MJ fan and also have some of his clothes, even the gloves 🧤 He's a MJ collectar. He collects MJ Souvernir. The real things. 👍 He also have a poster signed by MJ he was received by MJ's housekeeper who worked on Neverland where MJ lived. Before he died he said "give it to someone who loves me", and 24 years later Dimash got the poster from the old lady. 👍 Isn't that a great story. 😊

Dimash is so far ahead of everyone else in so many ways, and his about 25 years of singing and acting experience can’t be approached by others who are just starting as teenagers or older. This great advantage that he and his family and national opportunities have created most likely can not be done again within the next 15 years by anyone else on planet earth, without supernatural intervention….which is what has happened in Dimash’s case.

Dimash is not European, he is a Muslim from Central Asia. Yes, he's steeped in MJ who's been his role model since he was a little kid. One day, a Dear who was a nurse (if I'm not mistaken) received from MJ a large poster which he signed and dated on the back. By unhooking it, he had made a small tear on the poster. Years later, this lady who became a fan of Dimash and who knows his love for MJ offered him this poster... And on the back, it was dated May 24, 1994, date of birth of Dimash! And he didn't want us to fix the little tear either because it had been made by the hands of his idol MJ :)

The different personas and voices imply a philosophical conversation between states of hopelessness and despair because of the darkness of life (black) vs the hopefulness and light that comes from embracing love instead (white) which in turn engage our feelings and touch the heart (red). Dimash's live performance in the last part as a contemporary man against the giant figures which represent different human states of consciousness brings this it into an experience of life lived fully in the moment with all three states present and acknowledged and wholly integrated into the here and now. Rather than creating cognitive dissonance by presenting opposing views, Dimash creates cognitive consonance, a state of harmony between competing emotions, beliefs and values by blending different voices, traditions, tonalities and styles (even expressed in his dress) into a gorgeous tapestry of sound and color that expresses the rich fullness of life. I was reminded of Walt Whitman’s line from the poem “Song of Myself: ‘I am large, I contain multitudes.’ Dimash does contain multitudes, and his art elevates the conflict from a two-dimensional dark vs light, good vs bad, true vs false question into a three-dimensional experience that frees us to live fully from the heart (hear how his high notes soar above and weave it together) without becoming overwhelmed by life's problems or denying the reality of life's darker aspects. Two dimensional conflicts often paralyze us with feelings of helplessness and despair and limit our ability to respond to life's storms appropriately, but when we get to a higher point of view, embrace a higher state of consciousness at the soul level by tapping into the love and peace within, we become the masters of our lives and not the victims of circumstance, and we can act with passion and confidence in the middle of the storms and, with open hearts, let our love within flow out into the world. Dimash's stated mission, to bring unity and peace to the world through his art, is very much evident in this piece. Like in "Story of One Sky," he is very intentional about the message that we need to accept all there is and allow all to have a voice and a presence, not to silence or disappear what we do not like or understand, in our selves or in the outer world. The darkness is our reality as much as the light; the work of our lives is to create a harmonious whole through love that expresses our full humanity. A shout-out to Erlan Bekchurin who arranges most of Dimash’s songs. Close friends since their teen years, Erlan is a genius in his own right, and together they make magic.

Opera and Pop. Popera, or Neo-Classic. That was his first song in Spanish. He performed it at his first concert in his hometown of Almaty, Kazakhstan on September 23, 2022. Here's something that will surprise you about Dimash. I noticed that you're reacting to the GBB23, and that just 2 weeks ago you reacted to YA NA HA's World League Crew Wildcard performance of "Free Your Life". Well, just a couple of days ago it was announced that YA NA HA is joining Dimash's world tour as an opening act! You're right about Dimash's creative genius -- not many solo artists (maybe none) in the crossover genre would think to add a beatbox crew as an opening act. Dimash is also adding some hip-hop dancers to his own music for the tour. Somehow, he will make all of this cultural diversity make total sense. I can't wait to see what he's up to!

Lol, I don't think I've ever seen you so excited 🤣 The whole Almaty concert was a technological masterpiece of a quality never seen before. I've seen the Rolling Stones at Wembley and even that didn't compare with this. His charisma and stage presence were off the charts and the whole concert went on for almost 4 hours with Dimash being as full of energy and fun as he was at the start. Btw if you want to watch him drop down from the top of a 70ft screen then watch Golden at the start of the concert! Although you may have to blur it for copyright.

Dimash loved Michael Jackson. Used him as one of his teachers early on in his career. In one of his concerts, I believe it was done in New York he does a tribute to Michael Jackson very nice, ☺️ very respectable. You should watch I know you would enjoy it

Like you said, doing the same stuff. With the new technology (like auto-tune), so many singers don’t even sing well at all. I love Angelina Jordan, but again, she has one style, however great, and that’s it. Amira too. Poor little Daneliya (getting compared by you to her compatriot whom by the way she admires so much) she’s so cute, and sings so well, but again, that’s it. That’s why they say that there are good singers, there are great singers, and then there’s Dimash. Looking forward to more of your Dimash reactions! Ah, since you like MJ, you might want to react to the duet of Dimash with the Chinese rapper Victor Ma. They did Earth Song together, which was the first time I found out that I actually liked rap too! 😂😂

Yes, I didn't care for opera until Dimash. Couldn't stand that jagged vibrato from the female opera singers. Hurt my ears. Then I heard Dimash. Gorgeous vibrato I can listen to forever! 😊

This is such a great song, but the MJ screams don't fit that song at all. It is sad to see that, while Dimash has found his own inimitable style with regard to the crossover and neoclassical genre, he has turned into an MJ copycat when it comes to pop. Musical inspiration is one thing, but his continuing physical MJ imitations are getting embarrassing. He really needs to find his own style in this area too.
