Wonderful reaction! I subscribed. Welcome to Dimash - you have so much delight to look forward to! I just posted this in the Dimash fan site DKIFC: "I thank every decision I have ever made in my life that lead me to this moment right here, to that video right there, because I got to listen to that!" I have watched a LOT of first time reactors - it never gets old watching the shock, delight and awe of someone experiencing a Dimash performance for the first time. :) I think this is the first one I've ever seen, that in her very first viewing, recognized immediately how much work Dimash must have done to develop his glorious gift. This is a must watch!

I am a trained singer and I have watched upwards of 30 first time Dimash reaction videos and ur reaction is one of the best. When u said something like just commenting on his range is not enough. U got IT after only one listen. It took me about 4 listens to figure out, "what did I just hear!?" And I had a similar organic thought if, "Thank God I was alive to hear such an other worldly performance/gift" And yes, Dimash works very hard and u figured that out after only one listen. Very sophisticated and real!

I looked at the thumbnail and thought to myself “I don’t think she looks like she would appreciate Dimash’s performance like I do.” I’m telling you right now that I am so sorry I waited until today to watch your reaction. I was completely WRONG! You are literally me if I was anywhere close to your age. i didn't think he could top this insane performance, boy was i wrong... both "Adagio" and "Sinful Passion" are even more outrageously good than this masterpiece. Adagio, a song where he gives absolutly everything he got. Sinful passion, a so well performed performance that you just sit in quaking awe at his immense talent.

This was actually the first performance for the China competition's new season of The Singer 2017 [which was why the crowd was excited for it to start at the beginning] -- but what is often overlooked is that he was pretty much a complete unknown to that audience [he's from Kazakhstan and didn't speak any Chinese at that time], and he was the least expected or anticipated to do much since he was pretty much unknown to the audience [which is why he was placed to go first -- the most anticipated singers were set to perform last on that episode]. This was the first time the China audience and other performers in the back room on the show heard him sing. Between his first performance ["S.O.S." in French] and his 2nd performance [Vita's "Opera 2" in Russian], he quickly won their hearts completely. So true, I had the same reaction the first time I heard him. I was so grateful to have the privilege of listening. This is just the first episode of the 2017 Singer series for Dimash, there are 12 more episodes, all on KZbin, each one a revelation in a different genre. The show is called 'Singer' now and mostly referred to with the year. It used to be 'I Am a Singer' but was rebranded in 2016 or 2017. Great reaction and you have so much to look forward to with Dimash. I do recommend that you check out Gloria Wu's channel as she has English subtitles for most performances and background story for several, like Late Autumn/Autumn Strong (ep 4) and Daybreak.

Nadia, I see you reacted to this episode 1 sos from singer 2017 which was a china talent show and you reacted to episode 6 adagio. Please react to all the other episodes beginning with episode 2 opera 2 and all the other performances from other events. He is currently in the U.S. doing world's best competition he has already done 2 songs and he is still in the running to possibly win. He has a vocal range of 6 octaves and he has gone from c2 to being the only person to do D8. You can see him do that in unforgettable day gakku concert 2017 or in Dimash extreme vocal for male voice at 7:45 mark
