@@maggied8468 I love the song and I cried at the New York concert because I saw tears in his eyes as he was touched by the fact people were singing his Kazakh song along with him (or trying to sing it) in America which was a dream being fulfilled. I often wonder if he understands the magnitude of love, genuine love people have for him not only as an artist but as a person. I pray for the day he will tour all of the U.S. and world wide while praying he will not get caught up in a rat race and return to his home often to rest with his family.

He has a relaxing and peaceful effect on me. I agree with you I hope he has quality time with his family to relax and recharge. This song was written for the opening of the European Games in 2019 in Belarus. Here he sang it at his solo concert in Kazakhstan in 2019 in front of 45000 people. It's the Arnau Kinetic Voice concert, which is on his channel. He also sang it at the closing ceremony of Worldskills - a world championship for vocational skills , in Russia.

I enjoyed your reaction and commentary to "Olympico". I love that you always include the lyrics in your overall reaction. Some of the greatest songs by Dimash, are the heart-wrenching "Daididau", "Daybreak" and "Autumn Strong". He sang them on the Singer show and continues to sing them on his concerts. The three songs have real-life backstories, which make listening to them even more emotional. Gloria Wu made videos of the backstories and the Singer performances, which are on her channel. This performance is from his 2019 Arnau Solo Concert in Astana, Kazakhstan and this song, Olympico, was a collaboration between Dimash, Igor Krutoy, Erlan Becturin and the lyricist whose name escapes me for the moment. Its a very epic song, written especially for Dimash's voice and was premiered at the 2nd European Games 2019 but the video only shows glimpses of Dimash between officials very slowly walking the arena with a white flag, very odd and frankly not worth watching. Another video titled "Dimash Kudaibergen - Olympico~ New Wave 2019 Sochi" it's also Dimash singing this song but it's super enjoyable. Have you seen Dimash perform with his Mum and Dad? He sings Mother Dearest here on KZbin. Dimash kneels down in front of his grandparents when he sings. He loves them very much and they brought him up for many years.
