Actually, Dimash is changing the way his name is written to Qudaibergen with the letter "Q" not "K". So right now some places his name is Qudaibergen, other places is Kudaibergen and some are Kudaibergenov - the Russified form of his name.

There are two kinds of K in Kazakh Cyrillic alphabet: К and Қ (with a little vertical line at the lower right end). The first one is transliterated as K, the second as Q. Dimash’s name is with the second (Құдайберген), so Q is the norm, but since not many people actually pay attention to such small differences.... we’ve got two renditions.

А исполнение им хитов на других языках - это одновременно уважение и приобщение к чужим культурам, но при этом и определенный расчет: на "Сингер 2017" он спел на 5 мировых языках и этим самым дополнительно завоевал массу поклонников. His parents are performers as well but this has been in his blood since he was born. At 5 years old, all he could think about was singing. Dimash is a phenomenon.. There is no one like him. This performance was held in Sochi Russia 🇷🇺 He speaks Kazakh, Russian and has been studying Mandarin and English for 3 years and is becoming quite fluent in both of those languages also. He sings in 12 languages and plays 8 instruments very well. He has also done a lot of composing. He is from a very close knit, musical family. He is very humble and kind to everyone. He has been classically trained since he was 5 years old. He holds degrees in both Opera and Contemporary music. He is now studying for his Masters Degree in Composition...while still performing and training everyday! He is a musical genius! @Joy Rove He is not fluent in Mandarin - he is using English to communicate in China, but he has learned to pronounce the lyrics of the 20 songs in Mandarin that are in his repertoire. He knows some phrases in Mandarin like: "my name is Dimashi", "Thank you very much" and "Happy New Year". By now I learned those phrases as well, by watching Dimash videos.

I think he is the most magnificent singer in the world. He was born with perfect pitch, performed when he was only 3, started out at age 5 being trained for an opera future; then graduation from "high school" in his music academy, he decided he wanted greater freedom of musical options, going into pop, jazz, traditional Kazakh, and many other genres. His dad wrote the song for his mom. He sings around home all the time and he continues to train (develop and maintain vocal cords) as well as rehearsing, etc., up to 5 hours a day. This is what he likes to do, more than anything else. In his house, other singers also are practicing at the same time, and when Dimash rocks a little child to sleep, he sings to her in opera, or rock, or whatever. He literally can change from one genre to another in an instant switch, with no effort. The song SOS is sung in Fremch. It was the song that he sang in a competition, and it sprang him onto the world scene.

He sings a lot of songs in French but he also sings in Italian that you might hear Russian and he even studied one week learning Chinese and sung that song in Chinese. Plus he does other songs in different languages I don't know how many more sometimes it's endless his talent is beyond range.

I think you should invite your friends back so the one guy who knows Vitas can watch Dimash do the song....Opera 2...on the show I am singer from China in 2017. Also, Dimash started singing lessons at the age of 5 and is also trained in Opera. I have already subscribed and I am looking forward to more reactions for Dimash. I've heard him sing in Kazakh, Russian, French, English, Italian and Chinese. He can sing using rock, pop, folk, middle eastern and operatic stylings. His vocal range spans more than six octaves (from bass to soprano.) His voice can even hit a mind numbing whistle voice reminiscent of chalk on a chalk board. Nothing you've ever heard can prepare you for what he can do. It's surreal. It's humbling. He is the embodiment of unexpected joy.
