If you look closely- the many empty seats were supposed to be his many Chinese fans- but at the last minute were not allowed to fly to Russia. The lyrics were written for Dimash by famous singer, Lara Fabian. After she sang with him in NOV 2019- she home and wrote this...and called Ignor to compose music that only Dimash could do. And thus- "Your Love" was "born" :-)

Maestro Igor Krutoy on the piano is the joint composer with Dimash of this song, words by Lara Fabian and the arrangement is by Erlan Bekturin, Dimash's "brother"/ best friend. Backing vocals are Dimash. This was sung at the Kremlin Palace at an event for a famous Russian fashion designer, highly exclusive.....it's (haute couture) high fashion, hence the red suit with gold silk lining. The performance was a gift from Dimash for International Womens Day, and it was between two of his solo world concerts. Dimash is always a very busy boy but his 5 remaining concerts have been postponed until March 2021 because of the covid-19 pandemic. Stay safe everyone.

Hi Guys, Awesome reaction to one of the newest performances from Dimash.This was at the Kremlin Palace Theatre (always very reserved) on Sun Mar 8th Dimash had been performing his solo concert in Latvia the previous evening and only flew back in the afternoon of this performance … superb song, superb performance. Have you checked out "Across endless dimensions" theme from a film which was due for release late Mar but has been postponed till later in the year although Sony Music did release the soundtrack about 3 weeks ago, Dimash has also posted on his YT channel "We are one" which is a tribute to all the frontline workers working through the covid period. 👌👌👌😊😊

OK, I will try to explain. Until 91, Kazakhstan was under the auspices of Russia. In the Russian language, the prefix "ov" means belonging to a particular seedling or family. This is the same as in the English prefix "S" For example, if your father’s name is Greg, then you are Greg's son, son of his family name.. The same with Kudaibergenov. The name of his grandfather Kudaibergen, means Dimash Kudaibergen'ov. In English Kudaibergen'S. Continuation of the seed of the family. Because Dimash refused the influence of the Russian language on his last name, he simply decided to accept the name of his grandfather as his last name, Kudaibergen. Therefore, his last name was replaced from Kudaibergenov to Kudaibergen. And guys, you absolutely do not understand the Russian mentality. Tickets for such concerts are mainly bought by the Russian elite. If they like what they hear, then they will never jump like young people in the west do. They will simply clap and give flowers. This is how educated Russian Elites express their gratitude.

If I recall corretly in one of Dimash's interview he said that russian audience was the most difficult audience he ever has. He told that he is always more tense when performing in Russia. But that is very normal there cause of their culture and education during cold war with communist regim, they are always very strongly controlled emotionally.

Thank you for your reaction. His last name is Kudaibergen or Qudaibergen. In Russia the OV is added at the end of a name as a male possessive (belonging to a male). Kazakhstan is doing away with the cyrillic alphabet over the next few years, and Q will also replace the K in some things. .

In russian they call him kudaibergenOV. Its an possessive ending to show wether its a male or female. If dimash was a woman, it would probably be kudaibergenOVA. As in china they say dimashi instead of dimash. His International name is dimash kudaibergen. In kazakh its dimash Qudajbergen, which is also his birth name. (Qudajbergen in kazakh means "god given"). So yeah, they only use kudaibergenov in russia. Hope this clears some brains. ;)

Dimash spent most of his life with this surname. But for the international scene, it was decided to shorten the surname and use the diminutive form of his name. Now he is Dimash Kudaibergen both in Russia and not in Russia. Конечно окончание «ov» в фамилии Кудайбергенов имеет русскую этимологию. Однако Кудайбергенов - это фамилия, которая была дана Димашу при рождении. Димаш большую часть своей жизни прожил именно с этой фамилией. Но для международной сцены было решено сократить фамилию и использовать уменьшительно-ласкательную форму его имени. Сейчас он - Димаш Кудайберген и в России, и не в России.

@@ju1ietta first to all I'm kazakh but from Spain and from behalf of kazakhstani people I gotta tell you this, - your statement is kinda weak cuz it has lack of kazakh' cultural understanding of things. All these "OV and OVA" endings were forced and adapted to kazakh people back in the days (Soviet time) by russian supreme authorities. But yet not all kazakhstani peope have proceeded to change those odd endings after soviet collapse and independence of Kazakhstan and despite of It that's still weird for kazakhstani people and these OV and OVA endings don't make any sense in term of meaning definition. It refers mostly to kazakh culture rather then international sophisticated audience cuz even nowadays you could find videos where it says KudaibergenOV even its for international community. Just for the records, please stop liking your own comments because it doesn't give you a credit.

Они ждали Баскова с Киркоровым, а тут вышел Димаш и спел так, как никто до него не пел ... Большинство даже не в состоянии понять того, ЧТО именно они слышали. На 6:15 ребята даже возмутились тем, что очень многие зрители даже не хлопали после такого исполнения.

I believe the Russian people are a bit more dignified than we are when it comes to our public behavior. We're more emotional. And they live a hard life so I don't think they get impressed easily, either. It looks a bit strange and awkward to me, too, when I see them not giving a Standing-O to Dimash but then I realize I'm looking at it from an American perspective. It's just cultural differences. =)
