You’ve really slowed down with Dimash yet there are still so many more amazing songs like the alien song from fifth element, a song written so no human can sing it, Dimash slays it. Diva dance live at bastau is the best but also drunken concubine + diva dance and confessa + diva dance. Also live at bastau my swan where he sings with his teacher, a true heartbreaking story where a 2 year old watched his parents died after lifting him to safety, daybreak and my homeland Kazakhstan. A very young Dimash my beauty, the singer show, show must go on, adagio and opera 2. A mini movie that Dimash has worked on for 3 years, a heart wrenching reality check to everyone, the entire planet should be made to watch this. Dimash also does everything possible with his voice in the background. It starts off with Dimash as a boy drowning in the sea and his friend saves his life, he then gives a necklace to his 2 friends, next they are all adults, his friend (who is leader now) is angry with jealousy because he got the girl. The rest doesn’t need explaining. One true sky

Dimash performance of the song " Qaragym-ai in 2020 when his professor passed away due to covid-19 is as tamed as this one. The song was composed by his professor. During said performance, the picture of the professor was shown and another student of him played the piano. Another good and tamed performance of him is "Samaltau" 2019 in China. This particular song touches me a lot because I feel sorry for the young soldier in the song. The soldier was forced to fight for the Russian war. They walked for several days on the mountains and hills with no sleep. He left behind his aging parents without knowing if he will be able to come back alive. If he did not make it back home, I hope he had siblings who took care of their old-age parents.

Dimash doesn’t ALWAYS start with singing softly. Try Durduraz from his recent Almaty Stranger concert, It is a folk song, but he really rocks it up. Comes in strong and hard. I love it. Kieli Meken is another rock folk song. Love your reactions.

Quiran Elim means My Suffering (Sacred) Land. Dimash's is the FIRST generation to grow up in a free sovereign state in hundreds of years of invasion, conquest and subjugation, from the 14th century Mongol Hoard to the barbed wire Soviet labor camps. They are passionate about their nation, and preserving it's culture, traditions and history.

The instrument you mentioned is called kobyz. The kobyz is a very old Kazakh folk instrument and it’s spread among Kazakhs. The man who is playing the kobys in Dimash’s performance is the best on this instrument and a very good friend of Dimash. His name is Olzhas Qurmanbek. You often can hear this instrument when Dimash sings in his native tongue like Samaltau, Qairan Elim or Òmir Òter and at the stage performance in Stranger. Qairan Elim means Holy Land and is a prayer and an expression of fear about the fate of Dimash's country and the world in general. The MV is fantastic and he even directed it. The man, Renat Gaissin (a Kazakh composer) on the piano is also a friend of his and he has also written songs for Dimash such as River Of Love, an instrumental in which Dimash plays the dombra, and the song Òmir Òter (Ode to Life). The MV was presented of the 30th anniversary of Kazakhstan’s independence. Also a must see but switch on the subtitles. A masterpiece. Goosebumps! His Kazakh songs always strike differently. They're powerful and meaningful and whether you understand them or not the emotion hits you straight in the heart. If you think the production on this was high you should definitely react to El Amor En Ti from his Almaty concert last September. It's a technological masterpiece, which he composed himself and the first time he's sung in Spanish.
