I found Dimash in 2017 and I listen to him every single day. Once you learn of Dimash and the vast talent that he has you find it impossible to not listen to him. He can do any genre and sing in multiple languages, like 15 or so, maybe more by now while being totally fluent in his native Kazakh and Russian. That being said he now speaks English very well with a little Mandarin on the side.

Dimash is a global phenomenon and probably the only artist in the world who has total control over his voice which means not only can he cover a 7 octave range, he is not tied into a genre and has performed everything from Opera to Rap with equal skill and finesse. As a UK Dear (what Dimash named his fanbase) I was privileged enough to see him live in Budapest this year. I got over my lifelong fear of flying just to hear him live in concert and it was worth every minute, his stage presence is equal to any of the past greats like Elvis, Freddie Mercury, Mick Jagger or MJ. He's just a beast onstage. Offstage he's a completely different entity, kind, generous, softly spoken and well educated, he is the pride of his country and a great example to many other artists who get a whiff of fame and become entitled. On Saturday night after a 3 hour concert in an arena of 35,000 people, he left the stage for his awaiting transport but still stopped to greet and take photos with multiple children who were waiting for him, to me this is the mark of a real star, someone who never forgets what's important and remains humble throughout a meteoric rise to fame.

Greetings from Leicestershire! Dimash, THE greatest vocalist of ALL time! I came across Dimash in July 2020, I’ve listened to him multiple times every day since then! He’s absolutely incredible with his over 7 octave range, every register just beautiful. He’s also a multi-instrumentalist and he sings in 13 languages, including lots in English. He’s also an amazing composer and an incredible actor! He’s very famous all over the world, but he won’t sign any contracts, (thank goodness) as he wants to sing every genre whenever he wants to sing it, from Opera to Rock to Folk and everything in between! He’s also an amazing humble, caring human being!

Congratulations, you just witnessed the greatest vocalist alive. He is a 30 year old multi-faceted artist with a soul of a thousand years, who hails from Kazakhstan. He sings in 16 different languages (speaks Kazakh and Russian fluently, some English, and a little Mandarin), plays 8 musical instruments and is currently working on his PhD in musicology (has a Masters in composition). He’s been training since the age of 5, has a 7 octave range, has absolute pitch, and is an amazingly humble and kind man. His mother is a classically trained singer and his father is a singer and producer. He sings almost every genre (even raps) He has many recent performances, but I would highly recommend "Sinful Passion" 2018, "Stranger" 2021 ,"Olimpico" 2019 link on Igor Krutoy's (composer that came out of retirement to work with Dimash) KZbin channel, "Adagio" from The Singer 2017, "Ikanaide" 2021 Tokyo Jazz Festival, and "Ave Maria" 2021 at New Wave. After digesting those performances, I can't stress enough my recommendation for one of his most recent songs and music video (mini movie) the artistic masterpiece "The Story of One Sky" that he wrote the screenplay for and spent 3 years composing the music for, which displays a lot of his range (not all) and soooo many vocal techniques and dynamics, including sub harmonics, whistle register, bass, tenor, baritone, classical, jazz, pop, rock and unreal metal screams....and unbelievable dramatic acting. This song was written by Eric Serra for an alien opera singer in this movie and was not considered singable for a human voice. Parts of it were computer generated. There a some female singer who performed this song, but in my opinion not as precise as Dimash. And he is a male! Please react to the Diva Dance from his Bastau concert. He performed this song on his first solo concert in Kazakhstan called Bastau in 2017. It was after he finished The Singer competition that made him a overnight megastar in China What fascinates me the most is, that he sang this song in his concert where he had already been on stage for almost 2 hours. Just unbelievabel🤯. He worked so hard for this terrific concert. I was scared at first when I saw him. He was so terribly thin. You can react this song with another awesome version of Diva Dance together because it is really short (1.42 minutes). Some other reactors do. There are also more little vocal-surprises in this second video. It’s called Drunken Concubine and it is from the Shanghai Spring Festival Gala in China. He sings a duet with Li Yugang, a great Chinese Opera singer who usually plays a female in classic Peking opera (females weren't allowed to perform). Here he sings the part of the concubine and Dimash the part of the Emperor. Li Yugang is a very famous singer in China. The two harmonize so well together. I think it's so fantastic how traditional Chinese opera meets Western music and harmonizes together in such a great way. I love it and I’m sure you will like it, too🥰. I was you 2,5 years ago… “Why haven’t I heard of this guy before?”… By now, I have been to 6 live concerts, will go to 2 more in November (Prague and Düsseldorf) and the only reason I skipped 3-4 concerts in between is because my life at that moment just wouldn’t allow it, or I would have been there. He has the most amazing and versatile voice I ever heard (you haven’t heard anything yet with this one!), he is an amazing composer, he has tons of charisma, and he is the most humble person I’ve ever seen, always advocating for peace and unity. I have a friend group now that comes from literally all over the planet. In October, they will come to my wedding in Europe, and my opening dance will be “If I Never Breathe Again” by Dimash. Full circle and life couldn’t be more beautiful 💜💜💜!

Welcome to the greatest singer ever to walk the planet. I know how this sounds, but if you continue, you too will know this. Every vocal coach or musical trainer worldwide agrees. To answer your first question, one reason you haven't heard of him in the Western world is due to the ( especially US ) music industry blacklisting him because he refuses to sign with them. Dimash has his own company now. He knows that if he were to sign with them , they would tell him what and how to sing. Such as All of the other US sungers that now all sing the same sound over and over. Dimash sings in almost every genre of music from rap to opera in a 7.5 or higher octave reach with seven semitones. He sings below and above the reach of a piano and has the highest note ever recorded live. He is a multi instrumentalist , music producer, director, composer with a masters degree in music and working on his PhD. Vocally, there is absolutely nothing vocally he can't do. He has " absolute pitch, meaning he sings with perfect pitch and has no need for a lead in or reference to hit any tote. I like to joke that Auto tune checks it's perfection by Dimash s vocals. He is a film maker and recently put out a music video called The Story of One Sky. It's 14 minutes long and was awarded by the Pipe with a humanitarian award. In my opinion, if you really want to witness the most vocal abilities in one song, that's the one. He is 30 years old and has been in vocal training since 5 years old and continues every day, practicing at least 3 hours a day. At an opera "try out for new upcoming opera singers " Dimash was invited to be one of the judges. Placido Domingo was one too,. He approached Dimash and asked if they could do a duet together which of course our humble Dimash agreed. To most people, it seemed to be a passing of the torch. Dimash's fans he calls "Dears" because he says we are so Dear to him. He has over 105 different songs. He sings in 14 to 17 different languages as well. Dimash was lunched to the world on 2017 when he participated in a competition show, The Singer, with other well stablished singers. He was known in Eastern Europe and his country Kazakhstan, but not worldwide. Today, he has followers from every continent on earth and many attend his concerts thousands of miles from their country. Dimash = My favorite musician. I remember the first time I heard him and was absolutely puzzled that such a voice could exist. My heart raced, my brain struggled to process that it was even possible that a human voice could do what I was hearing. In my personal opinion, he is leagues above other singers in his ability.

I’ve watched Dimash for two hours every day since seeing him on I Am Singer comp performing S O S. I am 79 and besotted with this humble, humanitarian, loving man. I’ve been to five overseas concerts so far. He keeps inventing all the time, singing prob over 150 different songs, many in different languages. You won’t be disappointed. Try Stranger from New Wave 2021 next for a different flavour. P.s. when in Kazakhstan be still lives with his parents and grandparents even at 30. Sadly you've not heard him before because, as you said, you've seen him come up but never watched. This is typical of the times and very much what happened with me. Living in the US we are inundated every other day with a new "best of the best" and we become overstimulated and cynical toward new artists. This, I think, is especially true of non-western artists. I know that where I grew up the closest thing to foreign music that I had was singing French, Italian, or Spanish choral music in high school. When I first was introduced to Dimash it was this song (his original performance of it on "Singer") and his performance of The Diva Dance from Bastau. And while I was certainly impressed and shocked I figured it was a one-off, that he was a one trick pony, and because I couldn't understand his language he probably wouldn't do much to interest me in future performances. Boy, was I wrong. And here's one of the billions of cool things about finding and falling in love with Dimash: he is not just a singer, he's an experience. Because of him my world has become so much bigger and I have found a passion for learning more about the world beyond my own front door. I have fallen in love with his country and his culture. I listen to songs every day in languages that are not my own and I LOVE them. I take the things I have been inspired to learn and teach them to my own students, paying it forward. Dimash is more than just a singer. Dive in deep and hold on tight. He is 110% worth your investment of time and energy! Love from Oregon USA!

I liked and subscribed hoping for more Dimash reactions😊 Dimash is a 30-years old singer from Kazakhstan and believe me, you’ve seen nothing at all. In my opinion you have discovered the best singer in the world. He has perfect pitch and currently has a vocal range of 6 octaves. Not in one song (mostly anyway, but it does happen sometimes😅). However, if you include the notes he has sung live in his concerts so far, you get almost 8 octaves (7.7 from vocal fry C1 (B0) to the whistle register D8; this note is no longer on the piano). At least that's what he's shown us so far. And this in all registers (chest, mixed and head voice up to the whistle register). The transitions from one register to the other are so fluid that they are sometimes not recognized even by vocal coaches or professional singers. His voice is the result not only of his God-given talent, but also of his almost 25 years of hard daily training. From the age of 5 he attended music school in his hometown of Aktobe. He plays several instruments like piano, dombra (a kazach instrument), drums, marimba and more. He has classical as well as contemporary vocal training and sings in different genres from opera to pop, jazz, Kazakh folk, ballads, RnB and he even raps a bit. And often he skillfully mixes several genres in one song. Mainly classic and pop, so he created a new crossover genre. And meanwhile in more than 15 languages. And at his concert in Almaty, Kazakhstan on September 23, 2022 he sang in 7 languages in one concert! He sings no mainstream and is a completely independent artist. He is managed by his father Kanat, who founded his own company "DimashAli Creative Center". The logo can be seen at the beginning of many of Dimash's videos. Maybe that’s the reason you never heard of him yet. He doesn’t sell his soul to a music label. He doesn’t want to be dictated by money when he has to sing what, when, where and how. Many of my favorite songs are in his native tongue. He is a nice, intelligent, respectful and humble person. He respects people regardless of their original, religion or profession. He truly loves his homeland Kazakhstan and his people with all his heart and always shows it with pride in many of his songs, concerts and interviews. At his concerts he tells the audience that he has given concerts in many countries and repeatedly emphasizes that he loves everyone in every country. And there are no bad nations (only bad leaders). And I absolutely believe this. His concert in September 23, 2022 was in Almaty, Kazakhstan. It was so amazing and it lasts almost 4 hours. Believe it or not but he really gets better and better. Every time you think you know him and his art, that you've seen the best and that it's impossible for it to get any better, you realize you're so wrong. He's very spiritual and thankful for the gift God has given him. But he also works very hard to constantly improve his vocal skills. He said in an interview that he trains at least 3 hours every day, if necessary, it can be 10 hours to prepare for a concert. He loves swimming and also a lot under water. Maybe that's why he has this large lung capacity to hold the notes as long as he does. He is constantly his biggest competitior to get better and better. He is a real perfectionist. He's a singer you can't put in any box. He sings almost every genre there is and likes to try new things. You can't compare him to any other singer on this planet. He has so many different music genres and styles. He loves Freddie Mercury, but also Michael Jackson, Lara Fabian, Luciano Pavarotti and Eminem and you can also hear that one or the other has an influence on some of his songs. Every time you watch a new video, expect the unexpected. Even the covers he sings he makes his own and brings elements into the song that you would never expect. Don't be surprised if you get suggestions for songs you may have already seen. Dimash has different versions of many of the same songs. They are all worth seeing and always a little different. Not only can he sing perfectly and his performances are outstanding he's also an incredibly good actor. Check out his music videos. They are amazing. You think I’m exaggerating? I get goosebumps every time I hear it. Stranger was written by the famous Russian/Ukrainian composer, producer and songwriter Igor Krutoy. His and Dimash's collaboration created true masterpieces. He writes songs that only Dimash can sing with his vocal range, such as Olimpico, Stranger or Ave Maria. You’ll often see him accompanying Dimash on the piano. If Igor Krutoy is there, the song was also written by him. The two have no contract. Their cooperation is based more on mutual trust. It’s more like a father/son relationship.
