What a lot of people don't understand is that being a musical family Dimash was surrounded by musical instruments growing up, so his family recognized Dimash's interest and ability in music early in his life and his grandmother started taking Dimash for piano and singing lessons every day starting at the age of 5 so he had an earlier start than most people do and has dedicated his life to the training and hard work that it takes to maintain his body and his vocal abilities.

Great reactions guys. Yes, Dimash has natural talents from his super talented family. His father is a singer with smooth voice. His mother is an opera soprano with crystal clear high voice. He got from both of them. Plus he has not only perfect pitch, but absolute pitch, rare. Which means he knows exactly what each note should sound like and can reproduce it with pin point accuracy. He had said in an interview that if you open his heart, you will find pure music. He had always known that he would be a singer. Never even considered another profession. Here in this video, in early 2017, he was just 22 years old and yes he has only gotten better. He just turned 30 a few months ago. Many people asked, “Is there anything he can’t do?” He said he couldn’t cook. Ok. I have only love and respect for Dimash.

There’s actually a video of him as a toddler sitting down with one of the musical instruments he plays. He began his official training in classical & opera at age 5 (he’s 30 now). He is definitely self driven., he has said that his goal in life is to bring the world together with his music. He truly does just that! 🤯🙌👏🙌 He cuts his very own path into the music world by combining genres, languages, scale of octaves into each song he performs. He is a truly remarkable artist that we are blessed to have witnessed and heard. ❤️👏🙌 He sings in 7 octaves, 7 sub-octaves, 16 languages (he speaks Kazakh, Russian, and English fluently but, sings 16 altogether), and 9 different genres. IMHO, he's the GOAT. There is absolutely no one on earth that sounds like him. His singing is absolutely gorgeous and he makes it look so easy!! 🤯 Welcome to the Dimash rabbit hole!

Deben saber que Dimash estudia música desde los 5 años, cuando empieza a tomar clases de canto y piano. Es multiinstrumestista, licenciado en canto con énfasis en canto lírico y contemporáneo. Tiene una maestría en Composición y está con su doctorado en Musicología. Es un chico muy preparado y profesional, tiene canciones compuestas por él mismo. Ha cantado en más de 10 idiomas, entre ellos francé6, japonés, turco, español, italiano, chino, inglés. Habla Kasajo, Ruso e inglés Deben ver Omir, tanto su video oficial como su versión acústica en vivo, Guerra y Paz, Ave María, El amor de los cisnes cansados, El amor es como un sueño, Samaltau, El amor en ti, Qairan Elim, Memories, Battles of memories, sus interpretaciones de la canción Jasmine, Sinfull passion en Moscú o su concierto en Ucrania,y mucho más. Dimash speaks Kazakh, Russian, and he’s learning to speak English. He sings in different languages, about 12. Whenever he has a concert in another country, he tries to sing a song from that country. Dimash was 22 years old at this time. ❤️😊

Unlike American Idol, I am Singer, this show, is all professional singers...not wannabe singers. Dimash was the first non Chinese contestant and the youngest ever on the show. I've seen 7 different Dimash performances of this song and this is my 3rd favorite. That's right... he's done it better at least twice.

Valahol olvastam, hogy Dimash egy énekes-zenész család 6-ik generációja. Kedvenc dalom tőle ez az SOS 2017. óta. Ezt hallottam először és azóta többször énekelte kissé másként, nekem mégis ez a legszebb. Hetekig hallgattam reggeltől estig /nyugdíjas vagyok, ráértem/, mire eszembe jutott, hogy talán mást is énekel. Tetszenek a reakcióitok, és hallottalak énekelni, a te hangod is tetszik.
