Dimash is the most skilled vocalist ever! His wide range, versatility, powerful and beautiful voice, stage presence and musical intelligence make him a genuine and unique artist. He is now a world class artist, still just turned 27 on the 24th of May but touring the world to sell out arenas with his solo concerts, (on hold until next year due to covid-19) he also performs in concerts with the famous russian composer Igor Krutoy, is constantly collecting awards, attends many prestigious red carpet events and film festivals. He is university trained in Classical opera vocals to degree level, also holds a degree in contemporary pop music and jazz with a major in vocals, and now has finished his master degree in music composition. Now he is about to start his PhD. He has been having singing lessons from the age of 5 when his teacher noticed he had perfect pitch . He was offered a place at the Astana Opera in Kazakhstan but respecfully turned it down to persue his own more contemporary musical career. He is a multi instrumentalist, more than 8 instruments and also sings in 12 different languages and has a range of over 6 octaves from a low bass A2 to a high soprano, plus a whistle register with his highest note so far being a 5 second D8 with vibrato. He is widely recognized as the best vocalist in the world. He speaks fluent Kazakh and Russian, is studying English and Mandarin and has conversational skills in both but not quite fluent yet. He is kind, humble, generous and modest, a very elegant. His Dears are his very loyal fans and we number over 70 fan clubs in 120 countries globally and number in the millions, he calls us Dears because we are so dear to him. Please more Dimash Love is like a dream, Your Love, Olympico 🎤❤️💯‼️🌹🔝👏👏👏👏👏

Great and very enjoyable reaction. The song “SOS (d'un Terrien en détresse)” is originally from a French-Canadian musical called ‘Starmania’ from the 1970s and is considered one of the most difficult French songs to perform. You might also want to consider listening to Sinful Passion (Greshnaya Strast), Love is like a Dream, Your Love, Ogni Pietra (Olimpico), Confessa & Diva Dance, Opera 2, Across Endless Dimensions, Ti Amo Cosi (with Lara Fabian and Aida Garifullina), Ulisse (Duet with Aida Garifullina), and Know (both the regular performance as well as the vocalise). Also, his covers from the 2017 "I Am A Singer" competition Lara Fabian's "Adagio", Celine Dion's "All by Myself", and Freddie Mercury's "The Show Must Go On". His "I Am A Singer" 2018 guest performance of Lionel Richie's "Hello" is a must. His traditional and Chinese songs are also amazing: Adai+Daididau, Samal Tau (2020 Tokyo Jazz Festival), Qairan Elim (Holy Land), Elim Menin (My Homeland), Karagym-ai, Daybreak, Autumn Strong. And then there are Without You, Love Of Tired Swans, Where Love Lives, Unforgettable Day, I Miss You, Passione, Give Me Love, Marigold, Golden, Mademoiselle Hyde, Screaming, Tu Vas Me Détruire (duet with Sundet Baigojin), his latest music video “Be With Me”, just to name a few. His latest songs “Fly Away”, "Stranger", and “Ave Maria” just debuted live at New Wave 2021, and the latter two are on a whole new level. Just avoid any performance from "The World's Best" show/competition. The producers' conduct was disgraceful and unprofessional, and all performances were cut and edited to make room for commercials.

SOS, is a song from Starmania, a Canadian-French cyberpunk rock opera written in 1976. This is a song about depression & thoughts of suicide. Enjoy the journey, you've only just begun. . S.O.S. of a Soul in Distress Why do I live, why do I die? Why do I laugh, why do I cry? Here is the SOS of a man in distress I've never had both feet upon the ground I'd rather be a bird I don't fit into this skin I'd like to see the world turned upside down If ever it were beautiful It's lovelier from above, from above I've always confused life with the comic strips Even wished I could transform I feel something That draws me That draws me That draws me up Into the great lotto of the universe I don't have the right numbers I don't fit into this skin I don't want to be a robot Eating, working, sleeping Why do I live, why do I die Why do I live, why do I cry I think I'm catching waves From another world I've never had both feet upon the ground I'd rather be a bird I'd like to see the world turned upside down I'd rather be a bird Sleep, child, sleep

Here's something important to remember: all the superlatives used to describe him may sound like exaggerations...BUT THEY'RE NOT--I assure you. You will discover, incredibly, they're all TRUE. Some more facts to wrap your head around--he began classical voice training at 5 years old, and now at 27, it's given him a super solid foundation from which he continues to constantly expand his mastery of other genres. And he's developed his own type of genre (called the Dimash Genre by some, if you will) where he uses 2-3+ genres IN EACH SONG. Classical + folk + pop might be just one example. Like with Forrest Gump and his box of chocolates, you may never know what you're going to get...only that it will be absolutely delicious. Believing that there is always room for improvement he continues to practice, 3 hours every day, and plans on continuing so for years to come. And on top of tons of projects he is working at at any moment, he already has his Bachelor's and Masters Degrees (jazz and composition) PLUS is working on his PhD (musicology). Have I mentioned that he sings in 12 languages and plays 6 instruments, as well as being fluent in his native language of Kazakh from his beloved home country of Kazakhstan and the Russian language also. He has rapidly progressed in his ability in English with not only comprehension but pronunciation too, knowing perhaps only 1/2 dozen phrases a mere 4 years ago and needing an interpreter for interviews to handling them himself...especially important now that he has set his sights for the western market and plans to move to the US. Oh--and he knows a bit of Mandarin Chinese to boot! By the way, he named us fans his Dears, as he explained that we are as dear to him as his family. And he MEANS it. He tells us constantly throughout his solo concerts just how much he loves us and is grateful for every single one of us. When was the last time you saw some superstar performer do that??? Or, for that matter, take the time at the end of his concerts to individually acknowledge each and every person on stage, whether a musician, a back up singer, or a dancer. And finally--trust me on this--he is EXCEEDINGLY humble, respectful, kind, intelligent, generous, and considerate to a fault, and that's not even mentioning his wonderfully playful sense of humor. You will see...you will see. Haha--remember I said to mark my words!! Can't wait to watch any and all of your future reactions to him, my friend! Welcome to the Dear family--I have a feeling you're ALREADY a Dear...you just didn't officially have your name yet of "Jelani Dear." :D

You know, Dimash has sung different versions of the Diva Dance. I suggest Confessa/Diva Dance, then Diva Dance/Drunken Concubine duet with Soh Yang. For his highest note yet, try Unforgettable Day/Gakku. For his breath control, try Sinful Passion. For his breath-to-voice, try Amanat. So many to choose from, he sings many genres, though he seems to love popera.

I only recently discovered Dimash after ignoring him in my KZbin recommendations for more than a year. I figured he was just the latest pop "sensation" and I generally do not listen to that genre of music. I am almost embarrassed to admit that I have since watched hours upon hours of reactions to his various performances. I mostly watch reactions from professional vocal coaches, many with backgrounds in Opera. I just came across your channel (and subscribed), and like you, I am absolutely amazed by his incredible talent, ability, vocal range and dynamics, his delivery, as well as his stage presence. You have barely even begun to scratch the surface of his talent and vocal ability. I am looking forward to your next reaction. By the way, some Dimash fans are almost cultic to the point of fanaticism and they get outright defensive and combative over any perceived criticism of their "object of worship." Quite sad really because I am fairly certain that Dimash himself would handle criticism with much more grace and kindness. They would fare well to keep in mind that Dimash is just a man, not God. I am simply an admirer of good music and talent, regardless of genre, and do not count myself among the Dimash fanatics, but I am utterly amazed by him. From what I have read, Dimash is from a very musical family and started singing and piano lessons at the age of five when he was found to have perfect pitch. He is university-educated with degrees in classical/opera, contemporary music, pop, and jazz with a major in vocal. He also completed a Broadway musical master’s class and has recently completed his Master's with a concentration in Composition; his thesis was titled: "Personal Image of Traditional Music". He graduated with Honours, achieving a perfect score of 100%. He is currently working towards his Ph.D. as he wants to teach music after his singing career. Dimash has diligently honed his craft and developed his God-given gift for more than 20 years now and it shows. I read somewhere that Dimash used to swim 3 hours every day to increase his lung capacity. It's not just raw natural talent but tremendous work, dedication, and discipline to achieve this level of performance. He has won many prestigious singing competitions and is a much-loved national treasure in his native Kazakhstan. He was even offered a place with the Astana Opera in Kazakhstan but turned it down to follow his own path and he has been very successful thus far. He sings in 12 different languages, speaks fluent Kazakh and Russian, is getting pretty good with English but is still studying it along with Mandarin which he says is a very hard language to learn. Dimash also plays six instruments; the piano, dombra, guitar, xylophone, cello, and drums. During his live concerts, he usually performs for more than two hours and treats his audience to an eclectic mix of styles. His range is over 7 octaves (A1-D8), according to some analysts, spanning across all four registers. As many probably know, the four registers, from lowest to highest are: vocal fry (pulse), modal voice, falsetto, and flageolet (whistle tone), and Dimash seems to effortlessly navigate between them, often within a single breath and without a break in between. Dimash has even hit a D8 for ~5 seconds with vibrato, the highest note ever performed during a live performance. He sings in multiple musical genres. His main genre is classical crossover, but he also sings classical music (bel canto) pop, and world music. He uses musical elements, and vocal styles and techniques of many other genres, including jazz, rock (e.g. screams), RnB, musical theater, even rap.

If you want to hear his classics and progression through the years try “Sinful Passion”, “Love is like a dream”, follow his competition journey in “I am Singer” 2017 reality show (all accomplished Chinese artists, he was the only darkhorse non-Chinese guest) If you want to fast forward to most recent then you have to check out all three performances from New Wave 2021!

Greetings from Hobart, Tasmania, Australia! 👋🦘🇦🇺 I listen to Dimash every single day. It’s much cheaper and way more fun than therapy. I recommend you listen to his Vocalise, New Wave interpretation of Schubert’s Ave Maria. Dimash blends Classical, Kazakh folk instrumentals, epic stage presence into one of the finest performances using one vowel. Masterpiece created by world renowned composer, Igor Krutoy (also on piano). Cheers and thanks for reacting.

Yes, you've found the greatest vocalist in the known universe, Dimash ❤ He is unmatched in every way. The best way to enjoy our DEARest is to go back to the beginning, aka his breakout performance in 2017 on the Chinese TV show 'I Am Singer '. He sings the same song, but delivers it in a much rawer, rockier way. Following on with his performances in this show and chronologically from there as he has many songs with many versions for your delight. Starting from the beginning is the best way to watch him grow and improve. Which seems impossible to imagine he can get better than this, but he does, oh how he does! Subbed for more Dimash 💞 🦌

The ONE to see is "The Singer"-version from 2017 (The Chinese competition that led Dimash to total fame in Asia over night (with his first performance which actually was SOS..). This is still my favourite performance of his. And maybe you want to get to know a bit more of his "older" stuff before you check out the newest. Just to see how he has developed. Peace and Love from Dimashfan and new subscriber from Sweden! 🙏❤🙏❤🙏

You need to listen to "Day Break", "Hello", "Across Endless Dimensions" & "Be With Me (the music video version) before you can start to understand what this man can do. Good reaction video by the way. I see a lot of people "reacting" to him when they are not reacting at all, they are trying to act out some sort of reaction. You, on the other hand, react to him honestly and with a true appreciation for his work. Thanks for that. By the way, "Spread Love" is really good. you should post more of your songs.

Two suggestions for the next songs by Dimash to react to: Sinful Passion, one of his great classics, and Stranger from his recent appearance at New Wave 2021 in Sochi. Unfortunately, reactions to the latter get blocked frequently, so counter-measures such as greying out or distorting the video otherwise are recommended.
