Often their own music was inspired by the ordinary popular folk music. The folk music of those times are the equivalent of the pop music of our times - serving the same purpose of being a medium through which the human spirit in all it's simplicity, in it's love, in it's dreams and longings, in it's sorrows and heartbreaks - and also, the innocent child in us all, is constantly celebrated. Bach, Mozart, Beethoven, Brahms, Schubert, Schumann, Stravinsky, Sibelius, Bartok - the list goes on and on - respected folk and popular music. All these composers have composed masterpieces that I personally adore. And not meaning to show off in any way, also me, also I, have a musical ear experienced and 'sophisticated' enough to truly discover and be absorbed in the "sweetness" that can be found even in Karlheinz Stockhausen's and Steve Reich's works. Now to get to my point: In all my years of immersing myself in music, meditating with music, meditating on music, so to speak 'dancing' to all types of music, I have not come across singing that grips my heart so directly and forcefully as the singing of this kindly, ordinary and unpretentious boy from Kazakhstan, Dimash Kudaibergen. 🌿🌿🌿🌿🌿🌿🕊!!! Why is it so? How is it possible? To answer that adequitly I most probably would have to do much real introspection and hard thinking - perhaps write a lengthy article - who knows - perhaps even write a whole book!! When I listen to Alban Berg's Lulu or Stockhausen's Gesang der Junglinge, I truly encounter true humanity in it - even if in it's terrifying dark duality, or in it's heavenly (syncretic) non-dualism. The true humaity that one encounter there - whether the images be tragic and distorted, or angelic and elusively Divine, - is what makes it truly beautiful and valuable. The humanity that one discovers there !! But music or art, or attitudes about music or art in which human cleverness and 'real' or imagined human superiority, human intellectualism - is idolized at the cost of nurturing and protecting true humanity, - such art and attitudes won't stand the test of time. Viva la Callas !! Viva Dimash !! Go Dimash go!!! 😆😅🌿🕊

@Freak Show i mean.beyonce is good. But i dont think she could sing an opera. I dont think beyonce could sing like a man. Where as dimash can sing both man and women verses. Beyonce would need to have a male duo Dimash is a solo act. Bilingual And could cover all of beyonces song. And likely pull it off uniquely where as i dont think beyonce could do what he does. Beyonce is free to change my mind and id love to see her challenge herself in such a way. But come on man. Give the man some credit.
