What sounds like a "yodel" is a traditional Kazakh throat singing lament of mourning, he inserted in tribute to a deceased member of this well known band accompanying him, who composed the song. It was so loved, it remains in his performances.

I find it very upsetting when artists are compared to others. I often wonder why Dimash just isn’t recognized for his own true talent that he himself displays. There are times these comparisons come across as if he (Dimash) doesn’t possess his own individuality but everyone else that’s he’s being compared to does! To me, I find his voice to be quite unique unlike anyone else. His vocal abilities are too, but yet I seldom hear one state that other artists sound or appear to imitate him instead. It might sound like a compliment but I myself, don’t perceive or view it that way at all. It would be appreciated that each individual artists or vocalist be recognized for their own individual vocals skills and of their own voice beauty. Dimash has his, as others simply have their own!
