It’s difficult to measure here with 5X the population of the entire UK plus major ethnic and religious diversity factoring in. There are so many single parent homes and children of divorce that it’s practically the norm. It’s almost like a major accomplishment to remain married as sociological shifts have redefined marriage. In my grandparents’ era it was “until death do us part”. The WWII generation had lots of people achieve golden anniversaries because divorce was taboo, particularly in a 73% Christian country.

All singers aren't 100% confident in their performance. Majority of them rewatch footage of their performance and find things they could have done better with their voices, it's called self-criticism and it's common knowledge that Dimash does this as well when he monitors his performances. Being able to sing well is one thing for the audience, however to the singers themselves its a skill and art. He isn't just asking "Did I sang well", he's asking his father if the way he performed the song with various vocal techniques and the inclusion of three to four extra higher octaves was good because when it comes to someone's work, a second opinion is always appreciated.

This elder sibling is devious, he only did so behind the backs of elders. In front of others, he pretended to be a great elder brother. Few saw through him. If only my dad was there to protect me. Up to today this sibling is still unremorseful. He excuse it as "sibling rivalry" which it is definitely way beyond. I feel broken and I know I will never heal. Throughout my school life and college days, I've seen how elder siblings in the same school protect, look out for and make sacrifices for their younger siblings.

JUST IMAGINE how proud his father had to feel watching his "boy" perform so magnificently. Dimash, his story, his family, his success, humility and responsible way of being are an example to all of us of what it looks like when things are done right and we are brought up surrounded by an atmosphere of love and understanding coupled with an unshakeable belief and faith in the love of God. That love - my friends - is what you and I and the whole world feels, that comes shining forth through his voice and person.

Ann Marie, you say it so well. Thank you for taking time to express your thoughts. Really I felt it was so poignant.
