Thanks for your reaction: the instrument is a kobyz, a qazaq folk instrument and the artist is Olzhas Qurmanbek. You can also hear it in the song Qairan Elim (the music video is gorgeous) and in Omir Other (the 2021 Digital concert version is extraordinary). The pianist is Igor Krutoy, a famous russian-ukrainian composer, who wrote masterpieces for a lot of artists and some exclusively for Dimash (impossible for other singers to cover them!), like Olimpico or Ave Maria. Both are extraordinary. For next ones, in addition to the 2 mentioned above, you have the choice among so many different styles: Love is like a dream (a so beautiful love song), Screaming (Idol Hit version), a rock song, When I've got you (the MV is crazy!), Across endless dimensions (a film music), Hello (a stratospheric cover of the Lionel Richie song)... and so many others!

There are many collaborations by them and they are all amazing. Olypico, Love of Tired Swans, Ave Maria, Mademoiselle Hyde, Passione, Your Love, Love is Like a Dream, Ti Amo Cosi, Ulisse and I Miss You. Dimash's catalog is vast and varied. Dimash is the best singer in the WORLD and there are no doubts about that, his voice is a prodigy of nature and a genetic marvel since his parents are two glories of singing from Kazakhstan since he was 5 years old, he sings publicly and has more than twenty years of lyrical training and graduated from the university of music, he is a singer, composer, arranger and multi instrumentalist, he plays more than seven musical instruments and sings in more than twelve(12) languages, he is also a great performer and a great artist who lives and feels music He is not an imitator of voices , Dimash has his own style and is one of the forerunners of the "POPera" he also has a very pleasant, HUMBLE and simple personality, easy access, which makes it very easy to follow, he always travels with His family and friends is a very educated person and an example to follow, he has become known for his musical talent not for getting into trouble or scandals, It has a very wide vocal range of approximately 7 octaves ,he is a singer with a wide vocal range very versatile is Baritone, TENOR , Soprano, counter TENOR, mezasoprano, everything at the same time is how to have 5 singers in one, it has a male and female voice, also many resources such as vibrato, "melismas", falsetto, Staccato, whistle tone, reaching a( D8 )live "Outside of Piano"at the concert of Gakku in an unforgettable day, at his young age he continues to improve and grow musically to perfection, he has a good physical presence he measures 191 cm or 6 "3", he is very famous and recognized in Asia and now he is becoming known In Europe and America, ALL their songs are spectacular, it always goes from low to high, soft to spectacular at the end, in my almost half a century of life I never heard so much quality and it is the hope of continuity of the classical genre because all the old tenors have already Almost all of them died and Dimash can sing like them but none of them can sing like Dimash, being a Man he sings better than any Tenor and his female voice is superior to that of any average Soprano, greetings and a hug from USA 🇺🇸 "Dears" Forever ❤️ Sorry for copying and pasting my informative comment in ALL the Video reactions to Dimash what I see but I do it with the intention of sharing information about him and what I think that in the music industry there are many artists who have been successful and have no talent and are bad people and they do not set a good example for the youth, Dimash and his music deserve to triumph in America, Europe and the whole WORLD, do you want to have already read my comment please come by without problem there is always someone who for the first time knows this information and I won't get tired of sharing it with all my friends"Dear" around the world, thanks for reading and for supporting Dimash 🙏🏻S.O.S. "Stranger" was the first of three songs Dimash premiered in August 2021, during his performance at the annual New Wave music competition in Sochi, Russia. He again performed with Igor Krutoy on the piano and introduced Olzhas Qurmanbeck on the kobyz. Igor Krutoy composed the music, American poetess Sharon Vaughn wrote the lyrics, and Dimitris Kontopoulos (Greece) and Yerlan Bekchurin (Kazakhstan) did the arrangement. Igor Krutoy is quoted as saying, "it was Dimash's talent that inspired me to write this song, his immense vocal abilities, and his desire to sing for a large international audience. Frankly, I don't see anyone else who could perform this piece in such a way." In my humble opinion, this is an amazing performance, one of the best to date. Dimash traverses almost 5 octaves (C2-F6) in this performance. That stunning last note is about 19.7 seconds in full mixed voice belt in F#5. Dimash performs an alternate version of "Stranger" on the "Shine! Super Brothers S2" Youku Show that is simply mind-boggling and well worth checking out. Here is the link: kzbin.info/www/bejne/qpnFmJtmpq6mmas When Dimash first listened to the melody of "Stranger," he felt that the addition of a kobyz to the musical arrangement would give the song a unique yet very fitting sound. Thus, the kobyz debuted at the New Wave Hall at the Sochi Olympic Park, and what a great choice indeed. It is a beautiful-sounding instrument that underscores the song's deep meaning. This wasn't the first time that Dimash has featured Olzhas Qurmanbeck playing the kobyz. You can also enjoy him in a few of Dimash's other performances, such as Qairan Elim (official music video) and Samaltau (2020 Tokyo Jazz Festival). For those who are unfamiliar with this instrument, the kobyz, played here by Olzhas Qurmanbeck, is a 5,000-year-old, traditional, sacred instrument in Kazakhstan. The kobyz or Kyl kobyz is the most ancient bowed instrument on earth, widespread among the Turks, Kazakhs, Karakalpaks, Bashkirs, and Tatars. It became the basis for most of today's bowed instruments worldwide, including European instruments such as violin, viola, cello, and contrabass. The Kyrgyz variant is called Kyl kayak. The instrument is carved from a single piece of wood (typically apricot), juniper (arsha), maple, pine tree, or birch. The instrument consists of three parts: head (base), middle (base is keude), and lower part (ayak) and usually measures 60-70 cm. The resonant cavity is usually covered with goatskin, reproducing a sound representing the animals of the steppe. It has two strings made from horsetail hair, one to provide melody and the other resonance. Someone explained that one string is made with 75 horse hairs and the other with 60 horse hairs. The strings are not pushed down to a fret but are played with pressure applied by either the fingernail or the pad on the finger, and the tones are varied by the pressure of the bow. The bow is shaped like an archer's bow, and its string, made with 40 horse hairs, is tied to both ends of the bent branch and affixed with strong threads of camel wool.

❤This performance is part of 3 original trilogy songs of Dimash's vision with the amazing help of "Igor Krutoy" ←whom is a brilliant Ukrainian and Russian music composer, performer, producer and musical promoter who has personal wealth in the billions who is notably introduced normally first with Dimash. The 2 of them met each other and now "Dimash" along with others help to promote his vision. The trilogy consists of starting with this song then following it up with "Fly away" then completing the rebirth with the song "Ave Maria" A devoted Dear named "Valya Todorova" wrote out the following, and it is so interesting to learn what Dimash is thinking and performing. I don't want you to be confused about the meaning of this song. It took us, his fans, a long time to decode his message. "Stranger" is a rebirth. Reincarnation. Celebrating the coming of new life. "Stranger" is the first masterpiece of the Dimash's trilogy. It symbolizes rebirth. 🎂This performance is full of symbols. Everything - the music, his voice, his movements, lyrics, the whole staging, the lights, the slowly moving light circle behind Dimash at the very beginning, absolutely everything you see and hear symbolizes the whole birth process, from the beginning to the end. At the beginning 9 man and 9 women carry candles /the small light of life/. They hide Dimash. The spinning orb of light behind him in the background shows the deep space from where our souls arrive. The crazy melisma and high notes in the middle of the song symbolizes mother's pain. At the moment he was born, the candles go out, and the stage goes on fire. His fist punch and coming to the front of the stage means he was born. His longest note at the end shows his very first breath, which means I've ARRIVED. The second one - "Fly Away", is our life path, the matrix in which we live. The spinning globe at the background, all the time, shows the scale of this matrix. Once again, everything in this performance is full of symbols - the creepy zombies at the beginning, the dancers movements, Dimash's movements, the lyrics... Everything evokes the feeling of rebellion. Dimash fights with this matrix, and he desperately wishes to escape it. He is the only one who refuses to dance that matrix dance. The Matrix tries to seduce him, but he fights the temptation and wants to fly away to find his own way. He finally manages to escape and witnesses the death of everyone left in it. Which leads into the final song of HIS trilogy called "Ave Maria". That's our soul's flight to the heavens. Dimash even graces us with Bel Canto ending Dimash is a very deep and wise soul. His songs are always very meaningful and the messages he sends to people are extremely strong. Not only his voice, the lyrics and his body movements paint the picture of the message, but the stage setting and atmosphere are also part of a complete performance. An absolutely mind-blowing, stunning masterpiece. A brain that is always moving forward with a strong drive and heart that is considered an old soul. Phenomenal Dimash & Igor made a truly stellar trilogy 🎶🌹🤩💗

Hi! This is one of my favorite Dimash's performances and songs. Amazing, awesome, stunning, gorgeous, are some of the words you used to describe it. Yes, that's right, the one and only Dimash. That string instrument is called Kobyz, an ancient Kazakh musical instrument. I really like its mystical and epic sound and the atmosphere it creates. Dimash frequently uses it in some of his songs. I read that, according to legends, the sound of this instrument chased away all the bad things; sickness, death, ... I already recommended some essential songs by Dimash in the comments to your first reaction; "SOS". Good reaction, thanks and have a nice journey throughout the amazing Dimash's world. 👋🎶
