Dimash is kazakh, not pilipino. Kazakhstan is large country, placed between russia and china. It is center of eurasian continent. Kazakhstan was part of soviet union, so almost all kazakhs speak not only kazakh, but russian as well. So does Dimash, he is good in russian. There was "police day" in russia. Usually, polisemen have consert at kremlin where they invite best singers of russia and postsoviet republiks. It is great respect and honor to be invited to take part of this consert . Russia produces great composers and that is what draws DImash. Dimash collaborated with world renown Maestro Igor Krutoy on the song LOVE OF TIRED SWANS written by Igor. The Maestro is on the piano while Dimash sings to the Kremlin. He was invited to perform at their annual concert when they heard his Sochi performance. I hope they have the English subtitles, there is one, because it is a beautiful song. ( Swans mate forever).

Dimash is Kazakh (Kazakhstan was a part of Soviet Union and gained independence in 1993 only one year before he was born) - he is very proud of his country and always tries to introduce his culture to the world. At the singer he performed a traditional Kazakh song with traditional clothes and instruments - Daididau - if you are interested use Gloria Wu's channel she added the backstory giving insight to his homeland, the song as well as the subtitles.

Sinful Passion was a performance in Sochi Russia. This performance is from Kremlin Moscow Russia. The composer that also plays the piano is named Igor Krutoy. The song was first written for french singer Lara Fabian which also has performed this song. And Dimash is from Kazakhstan not Phillippines. Thank you for this wonderful reaction and we both have the same goal, to see Dimash live :) unfortunately i missed him when he was at London earlier this month so i guess i have to catch him next time he performs in Europe.

LOL Dimash is not Filipino. He is Kazakh from Kazakhstan which neighbors Russia. It must be because Igor invited Dimash back and Dimash admires Igor so much, he is coming back to Russia next year to do a concert. No date yet. But this song is my most favorite ever. I can never grow tired of it.

Russia has good relations with Kazakhstan!!! Many Kazakhs speak Russian as well as their native language, especially in large cities (as in many former Soviet republics). Dimash this is a Prime example (no accent! there is very weak southern dialect). When I watched the Chinese show 2017 (in its entirety), I heard a couple of times as Dimash's team addressed him in Russian. Russian and Kazakh are completely different, Russians, as well as the whole world, are waiting for subtitles when Dimash gives an interview in the Kazakh language. I do not know English - scold translator :))

@@Joy77777 I use an interpreter. If I understand correctly - Your question is rhetorical :)) It all depends on the language group. For Russians it is easy to learn Slavic languages (Belarusian, Ukrainian, Polish, Serbian, Czech, Bulgarian, Slovenian...). Kazakh belongs to the Turkic group of languages (Turkey, Azerbaijan, Turkmenistan, Kyrgyzstan, Uzbekistan), but Russia is inhabited by more than 190 nationalities (including the above) and the Turkic group of languages for many is native (Bashkirs, Yakuts, Tuvans, Khakas, Altai, Chuvash....) it is much easier for them to learn Kazakh than for Slavs. This is my subjective opinion because I listed what I could remember (I do not guarantee full reliability :)). Conclusion: many Russians learn Kazakh easily, many as difficult as the rest of the world. I'm boring! Really? :)))

The composer of the beautiful music is Igor Krutoy, the pianist onstage with Dimash, he wrote it four years ago for Lara Fabian, the French-Canadian singer. The lyrics aRe poetry written by someone named Mikhail something. The audience looks military, but I;m not sure who they are, though not diplomats I think. This theater is iN the Kremlin. The performance is for some special formal recognition of some group, though EVery concert by Dimash is special. :)

I wish you can understand the words of this song. It's soooo beautiful! I bet you would cry. And yes, this is in Russia. And the guy who plays piano, He wrote that music for this song. He is very famous in Russia also. His name is Igor Krutoy. Hope it helped you a little.😉 He had a concert last December in London. Tickets was sold out like crazy. People from 47 Countries came to see Him. Hope to see Him here in States soon.

same here! when i first saw dimash vid opera 2 in china singer i thought he was half chinese and russian mix why cuz he sang in china and the song in russian ! yeah i know ! i was ignorant and not familiar with kazakhstan at that time but now because of my fondness of dimash i know a lot about kazakhstan and telling to my friends who are also not familiar to come and visit that wonderful place!
