If you want a different side of Dimash, try "Screaming - Idol Hits". "Screaming is the name of the song, which came out on video after the Singer competition, and Idol Hits was the name of the Chinese TV show this performance is from. On the video, he sang backing vocals too, so here they had him do something else. If you remember "Sinful Passion" , the man who stood up at the end in the front row with the white shirt, was Igor Krutoy, the pianist here. He was the producer of that show, and has been working with Dimash frequently since then. For example, you saw him on piano on the song "Love Is Like A Dream", which he wrote 25 yrs ago. He wrote the music for "Your Love", which spans 4 octaves, for DImash's voice. Lara Fabian wrote the lyrics. Igor Krutoy also wrote "Ogni Pietra", which you saw, for Dimash's range.

It's Igor Krutoy, a famous Russian composer who also happens to be a billionaire. He composed the song for Dimash after he came out of retirement to mentor him and compose for him. Igor has written other songs for Dimash like Ogni Pietra, Passione, Love of Tired Swans and wrote another song originally sung by Laura Fabian.. Mademoiselle Hyde. Laura actually wrote the lyrics to this song and Igor wrote the melody. I believe Love is Like a Dream Igor wrote too. Really enjoying your reactions...I've seen hundreds and yours is up there. As others said, the pianist is Igor Krutoy, who came out of retirement of sorts to work with Dimash. He has written quite a few songs for Dimash, including the spectacular Olympico, and I must say he's a much a consumate artist and chameleon as Dimash, completely changing language, mood and instrumentation with each song. Yes one runs out of words describing yet another Dimash masterpiece, but the pleasure becomes how adventurous he is as a performer and musician, utterly changing his body language, performance style and approach to match the story of each song. So look forward to continuing to be surprised. My favorite example of his versatility is the pair of recordings of the Krutoy song Know. Same song, two very different interpretations...one wordless! The latter shows how fully musical Dimash is, using his voice as an instrument that blends with an ensemble.

Megan, he actually has a large selection of songs in English. Even during I Am A Singer 2017 he had 5 out of the 13 performances sung in English. The first one of the 5 was on Episode 3 when he sang the Queen song The Show Must Go On. After the celebration of Igor Krutoy's (the piano player) 65th birthday in Moscow Igor composed the music and one of Dimash's idols, Lara Fabian who also has a connection to Igor composed the lyrics to this song in 3 days and it debuted on International Woman's Day. This is at the Kremlin Palace in Moscow. Igor has already composed 4 songs for Dimash since teaming up with him and reworked other songs just for his voice.

Dimash still needs a bit of help with his English pronunciation. Don't hate, I am a native English speaker and a languages graduate, I am saying it with the best intentions - he has actually improved a lot, and it's pretty decent in this song, but his accent can still be quite thick, like he has learned the song by heart rather than having a thorough understanding of what he is singing. Certain consonants like "d", and some of his vowels, too. I get it, his native language is very different to English and he didn't grow up with much exposure to English (I am guessing). But I think if he wants to really break out internationally he would really benefit from some language coaching, he is an amazing musician and I think he would really improve.

@@shanialover That's awesome, I'm sure it's been brought to his attention many times because he has obviously been working at it. He is a musical genius, and musicians are typically very good at languages, there seems to be a connection there with hearing sounds and mimicking them. I think spending some time in the US will help him a LOT, and he deserves great success in the English-speaking world because he is still pretty unknown and I think the language barrier might be part of the reason.

Maestro Igor Krutoy on the piano is the joint composer with Dimash of this song, words by Lara Fabian and the arrangement is by Erlan Bekturin, Dimash's "brother"/ best friend. Backing vocals are Dimash. This was sung at the Kremlin Palace at an event for a famous Russian fashion designer, highly exclusive.....it's (haute couture) high fashion, hence the red suit with gold silk lining. The performance was a gift from Dimash for International Womens Day, and it was between two of his solo world concerts. Dimash is always a very busy boy but his 5 remaining concerts have been postponed until March 2021 because of the covid-19 pandemic. Stay safe everyone.

Nice to see you getting back to Dimash. There's so much more where this came from. I'm reaching out to my fellow Americans who are frustrated by the fact that most of our countrymen have no idea who Dimash is. I've found a great way to introduce him to multitudes of our community members: join nextdoor.com and post his story and links to his songs. The site is a place where thousands of each community's residents gather for information and when I posted a comment about "the best singer of our time" and links to his songs, dozens of people in my own small town enthusiastically thanked me for introducing Dimash to them and promised to spread the word. Nextdoor claims to be in 1 of 4 US homes and also operates in Canada, western Europe and Australia. If every Dimash fan would join and share his story and his music this could be one of the best vehicles for getting him known in the western world.

Have you heard his songs performed by Dimash "Olimpico" or "Passione"? These songs (especially "Olimpico") are simply not able to be performed by anyone except Dimash. Nobody dares to do a solo cover on them. I heard a couple of good covers of Olimpico, but these were quartets and quintets: D If you see Dimash on stage accompanied by Igor Krutoy, you can be sure that Dimash is performing a song composed by this composer. It is really a great challenge for many of us, most especially when the great tempest of life hardly hit in our relationship… I think no human being can… because of our weak and sinful nature. If only people are open to his grace and obey His great commandments of love, indeed we can be truly happy in our relationship and our beloved as well. Above all, Gods grace strengthened them to stand firm in whatever circumstances that comes their way in the day to day life. This love is lasting and holy because it is solidly founded in GOD, who is HIMSELF the source of a true, faithful and lasting love. So we try to persevere to live the true love till the end, and God who is love will give us a crown of life and fullness of joy in His presence. Igor Krutoy is the Pianist, and is also the composer. This song began with Lara Fabian, who had the basic melody and wrote the lyrics especially for Dimash...Igor fleshed out the composition, and Dimash's arranger Erlan worked on the arrangement.
