Chinese producers pair the country's best singers with Dimash at these huge seasonal festivals. Zhang Yingxi was a student of Placido Domingo and you can see how tickled he was to be able to keep up with Dimash. Dimash's vocal abilities are considered by many prominent people in the Chinese music industry to be (in their own words) "god level vocals". A Thousand Miles A Common Dream is a Dimash original which he sang at the "Everlasting Classics" tv show where an ancient thousand year poem was set to music for Dimash to sing. Duets with Dimash are always incredible. He never tries to overdue his partners. He always do what is best for the song. The song originally is a Chinese poem. He sang this song for the first time in the show „Everlasting Classic“ TV Programm on the second day of the Chinese New Year 2020. And there he got a task in this show. And if I understood it correctlyn he had to write a melody to a Chinese poetry he chose. And it turned out soooo beautiful. This performance with Zhang Yinyxi took place at the 2022 Chinese New Year celebrations. Zhang Yinyxi was a student of Placido Domingo. An incredibly beautiful song with two incredibly great singers who harmonize wonderfully with each other. Greetings and love from Germany👋❤️

В Китае очень любят Димаша, фактически они и подняли его на международный уровень. На конкурсе Сингер Димаш исполнил песню SOS и просмотр был 600 миллионов. После исполнения первой песни организаторы без охраны Димаша никуда не выпускали. Китайские деарс организовались и зарегистрировали звезду назвав ее именем Димаша. Поэтому когда мы смотрим в ночное небо, нам светит звезда по имени Димаш и это удивительно! Спасибо за реакцию.

Magical duet. Thanks for the lovely reaction. Dimash is a classically trained opera singer, so yes it was him singing that. Dimash has sung duets with some of the world's finest opera singers including Placido Domingo. I recommend you see some of his other opera duets and also Olimpico, El Amor En Ti and Across Endless Dimensions to get a better idea of his immense talent, both as a composer and singer.

Thanks for your great reaction. Yes, Dimash's low notes are very warm and rich and booming. Most times, one doesn't expect that voice to come out of Dimash, but it was definitely HIM. He sang this particular song several times as duet with different artists and also solo. I really like the one when he sang it solo. Very emotional.

The song is about the friendship between two people. Though thousands of miles apart, friendship lives on in their hearts. To make it ever better, Dimash wrote the music to a Chinese poem for a contest...that version is fantastic too, but sharing the stage in a duet, with the amazing tech effects they do in China, is certainly an awesome and such a sublime co-creation by those two! This performance was cut and badly edited by the Chinese TV station as they didn't mix the vocals properly. That wasn't backing vocals it was the bit that was cut still playing when it should have been removed. They cut it as they would have over run. Not a mistake they make normally and especially for an important event like this one. It was part of a very long concert ❤
