This song reminds me of Alyssa. We were both misfits in elementary school and both of us were bullied. I was her only friend. We hugged and held hands, but never kissed. We played at recess every day, ate lunch together, and despite being one grade younger than me, were lab partners. Sadly she moved away over the summer, and I never got her number. Whoa that sounds incredible! Apart from the composition, what Contrabass model is that? I use an old Leblanc in school, which is still pretty good, but I'd love to try out your setup if possible, at least the mouthpiece model/reed cut and strength!

Thanks! I think it's just a standard Leblanc mouthpiece it came with 😂 For reeds I use 2.5 but spend a lot of time shaving them to get the response better!

Thanks! It's the Leblanc mouthpiece ~$80ish & rovener ligature. I use vandoren wood reeds but I soak and file them down so they play more consistently. Definitely necessary for these reeds that are the size of a 2 x 4!
