Personally I think this would have worked better as an hour long special or at least a two parter, it doesn't work as a 23 minute episode. That way the older rangers would have a lot more stuff to do

I honestly preferred the instant morph for the team up. There were too many rangers here, and role call would have taken far too long. To me, it made it feel even more epic, especially with the music that played with it.

The thing that confused me in the episode is why Madame Odius with Lord Draven in the first place, I mean Odius was the one who made his arrows be able to break the barrier anyway and build his robot army, so why couldn’t she just do it her self without his help, hell if she does that she won’t need to stay with the deal and don’t need to share the world with him, I mean unless the spell only worked for his arrows.

Forever Red and Once A Ranger still tops this for the reasons of it not really being team focused but starred a single Ranger when it didn't need to be but Dimensions in danger is a wink to Shattered Grid but Tommy is awesome so what can you do (-_- ) Especially now that he's got a Master Morpher. This needed to be longer though for better show of interaction because a few team ups were missing in the final battle - Reds, Whites, Blues plus RPM Silver and DT Black.

I have a theory as for why Brody didn’t know what a Power Ranger was. Maybe it’s because Dane wanted his two sons to be safe from harm so he kept them secluded from the rest of society and never mentioned anything about the Power Rangers. And then he was on board a spaceship for 10 years cleaning, so maybe that’s why he still didn’t know. As for the others, there’s no valid excuse.

9:45 actually I can explain that line about rangers disappearing across dimensions. Not everyone that was contacted agreed to do a cameo. Milo Cawthorne who played Ziggy, Davi Santos who played Ivan, David Youst who played Billy, and Erin Cahill had scheduling conflicts and couldn’t reprise their roles. But they were on board with doing it. As for the episode, it’s Ninja Steels best episode. Its also the best use of the current team of rangers in an anniversary episode. The Wild Force Rangers weren’t even used in Forever Red aside from Cole. The Overdrive Rangers were at their worst in Once A Ranger aside from Mack in part 2. The Megaforce rangers basically hogged the spotlight in legendary battle both in the episode itself and the battle. This episode was a much better balance between the past rangers and the current team. Not saying the episode is perfect but it’s the best since forever red in terms of anniversary episodes. But I really wanted to see all the rangers morph. And, honestly considering both Tommy and TJ were in the episode it really is wired that the red turbo ranger wasn’t featured. I mean yeah Kat has those powers for some reason in the episode but if Rocky and Tommy can represent MMPR at the same time then Tommy or TJ could have used the Turbo Powers with Katherine Also where the heck did Tommy get that morpher is anyone’s guess. And if the rest of the series looks cheaper then usual it wouldn’t shock me if this episode ate through the budget PS where would you put this in that team up episodes list
@kobaltsteel64186 жыл бұрын
I thought Yost didn't want to return; he even criticized the episode as "not a reunion." I agree, it's the best anniversary episode in a while AND it is the best Ninja Steel episode so far... but honestly, I feel like my time with Ninja Steel is over, unless we have more returning ranger episodes (as seen in Ninninger) and/or they go the direction I think they will go with Mick by adapting a particular returning character in Ninninger. If you ask me, the Turbo powers belong to robots, if you remember that one episode of Turbo. Robot TJ owns Turbo Red while Real TJ owns Space Blue.

I'll be damned! This was just Mind blowing! No filler, no Victor and Monty shennanigans, and no hamfisted moral of the day! Just 22 minutes of pure awesomeness! Not as good as Forever Red, but still a leg up over Once a Ranger, and Legendary battle! I'm also impressed how well they implemented footage from Ninninger's Summer movie. The evil Ranger Robot clone army are cool they remind me of the Cyborg Rangers from Lightspeed rescue, and the Ranger Key clones from Gokaiger Goseiger Super Sentai 199 hero battle. The only real bad part were some plot holes.(How did Tommy get that Master Morpher? How does Brody know who Wes is? How did TJ know who Draven is? How did Rocky, Kat, and Trent get their powers back if they were either transfered or destroyed? Likewise how did Tommy use the Black Dino Gem power if the Dino Gems were destroyed? And how the Faiz did Tommy summon the White Falconzord if the MMPR Ninjazords and Ninjor were sealed away when Master Vile reversed time?!) There are juet some things I would of liked to seen. Some more Sudarso bros bonding. An origin for the Master morpher.(My headcanon, He got help from Gosei using some Ranger keys.) And if they had to make an apperance, Have Victor and Monty bump into Bulk, Skull, Spike, Casidy, and Devin.... As well as an Early-bird cameo from the Beast Morpher Rangers. Otherwise Pretty good!👍

Well technically Tommy passed on the powers to TJ, so maybe he doesn’t have as much access to the Red Turbo Ranger due to the fact that the powers don’t belong to him anymore. That’s just my opinion, but there’s still the question on how Catherine is a turbo ranger.

Dimensions in Danger was enjoyable but by no means perfect. It was leagues above the 20th anniversary Legendary Battle. However it definitely needed a second part because it did feel rushed. For one due to time constraints they did not show the rangers morph which is easily the best moment in any teamup. Also the action with the rangers was very chaotic and all over the place. Plus if Dayvon was so powerful why was he destoryed so easily? The rangers just got new zords in the last episode and it would have been nice to see a great megazord battle since this season is severely lacking in this area. Overall it was a good special but for me Forever Red and Once a Ranger are definitely the best!!!

If cosmic fury was airing on Nick instead of Netflix, the first episode might have actually aired on August 28 of this year. But, since it’s airing on Netflix, I guess they actually decided to have it air a month and a day after the actual 30th anniversary. Nice going, Netflix! if I were figuring out when to air both once and always and Power Rangers cosmic fury on Netflix, I would have them both released on August 28.

Fair score... I have to agree with your points... I can't get over why Rocky is MMPR Red (should be Zeo Ranger III); that just comes off as fake nostalgia... a disingenuous excuse to use MMPR Red. I harbor similar issues with Kat being Pink Turbo, but I can kind-of forgive that because no one technically owns that power, except a Robot... though I would prefer Kat being Zeo Ranger I. Also, some of these scenes just look weird... like the MMPR Red close up... why does it look like that? It looks so out of place... it's not ugly or anything, but it sticks out like a sore thumb.

I have my own fan theory: After Andros shattered Zordon' s energy tube and the blast radius destroyed and reformed past villains, I believed it alternated the space time continuum and alternating dimensions, hence the name "shattered grid". That's maybe why other past teams of rangers haven't heard of Power Rangers from past dimensions.

Here's my HEAD CANNON on this. Everything from MMPR to Megaforce with the exception of RPM and SPD is one continuous timeline. RPM is in another dimension as is power rangers dino charge. As for ninja steel, I suspect that it place many years after the legendary battle, and the earth has been safe from danger due to the fact that the rangers defeated such a huge armada, and the other villains seeking to conquer the Earth figured not to bother if the rangers were that powerful. Because of the passage of time, people slowly forgot about the rangers, the ninja steel team being a reminder of them for the public, and this therefore sets up Beast Morphers, taking place several years after ninja steel happened, and sparks enough attention to get scientists on trying to access/replicate said power into technology, and therefore building up the connections that lead into power rangers SPD. As for Time force, well we don't have to worry since their past adventures take place in 2001 (same rules applying to Hyperforce for whatever timeline they end up in), and they're established to come from the year 3000, meaning we got a while till they're here. OR maybe the Megaforce used some Gosei style Bullhorse to wipe people who weren't a ranger"s minds of the power rangers in general to make them forget about the pain they suffered from during the Armada invasion, as well as the destruction from megazord battles. AND DON'T TELL ME IT THAT AIN'T POSSIBLE, because if you remember, GOSEI IS AN IDIOT WHO DOSEN'T UNDERSTAND WHAT IT MEANS WHEN PEOPLE EARN SOMETHING!

I think of Turbo being TJ’s because Tommy did technically transfer those powers over to him. As for Kat using Turbo, that doesn’t work because she was Turbo in this episode but I think that’s because Zeo, one of Tommy’s forms, was already being presented and there isn’t Cassie in this episode so... yeah. This certainly was way better than Legendary Battle and all I have to say is that I hope this season keeps getting better from here.

I dunno, maybe because of modern day super hero movies (Marvel especially), I"m much more willing to let the "What's a Power Ranger?" thing go. Like in the Marvel movies there are STILL people in their universes who don't know that certain heroes exist or who they are or whatever. Despite gigantic invasions and whatnot, people still don't know or CARE who these heroes are. Some people are SHOCKED that the Hulk is at hing in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. This has been a thing before in comics too and I think I'm just used to it at this point. Plus since they were kids, you'd think parents would try to shelter them from a giant war going on. I think we gotta keep in mind, just because things like this happen in Angel Grove does NOT mean that the rest of the world would be totally aware. I mean other than the rangers themselves there were NO signs of cameraen, news teams, or anything filming the rangers during the legendary war. I guess it just doesnt matter to me if continuity gets acknowledged. Power Rangers has shot continuity dead many times before.

Was this battler than the Legendary Battle? YES! Was it a good Ninja Steel Ep? Sorta. A good Ep over al-NOPE! Why in God's name wasn't this an hour long special? Or at the very least had a cliff hanger for a later date? Darn it Power Rangers, you keep teasing and building up but fall so hard on the delivery. But at least this was a good Ep in terms of previous ones this season. And last. And how ironic that a Megaforce Ranger showed up.....almost like their planting seeds..... Anyways this villain (who I thought might had been Vrok) was a good idea but wow oh Zordon was he underwhelming. "A villain who rules a Dimension under his fist, mentions of past battles with Rangers, builds a whole army to invade all other Dimensions, his army getting destroyed in a epic battle that lasted only........1 min!? That...that can't be right, why exactly were we scared of this guy again?" This could had been one of the best Eps in the series, but no, instead it took the Sentai Megaforce was built from and none of the threat. Seriously, 10 Rangers took on an army meant for Dimension invading? Granted the cloning thingy got destroyed... You know, even with the above this felt like any other Ranger Ep. It did not feel like Ninja Steel, which I suppose is good..? Here's what I think should've happened. This new villain taking over as Ninja Steel's big bad. Thus keeping his level of threat solid while still having his army ruined. Tommy stopping that last arrow was pretty much the worst. Hey Tommy, MEGAFORCE WANT THEIR WRITERS BACK!!!!!! But nice to see he has all of his Ranger gear, altho having them all in 1 is kinda a bit much....and it was strange his Turbo Powers aren't mentioned, kinda feels like their ashamed and want to forget Turbo happened. His Zeo powers, is the crystal intact? You know, the very thing the powers are from that never stops getting stronger? Seriously Tommy, use that for a few years and you should rival Goku in power by Zeo's canon. Overall this was a nice Ep but I didn't once see this guy as a "Dimension" threatening force. And what a total lie! "Rangers being taken from different Dimensions" ha! Wait....did these Ranger get kidnapped during Outfoxed? Because....because why in Zordon's name did they appeared robed? Seriously, they show up with great mystery and auto-gets shattered the very next Ep....So, were these three chosen out of 25 years of Rangers to be "Guardians Of The Dimensions" or what? For that matter, WES! How the bloody nightmare did he get his powers ba-oh right he did in the crossover following Time Force.......Well, still doesn't answer the above question and more so if he just kept the powers he previous gave back for timeline reasons. Nothing left to say. GOOD Ep, lame payoff when you get into it but it beats Megaforce by planets. P.S for every Ranger in the core canon that asks "what's a Ranger" or even questions what they turned into is now a plothole and canon error. Because by the Legendary Battle (In Space's final was at most a 5 or more years ago so younger teens likely would not had been told) EVERYBODY should know who and what a Ranger is. Granted, if their shocked at first it's fine but they would still know they turned into a Ranger when said shock fades away and shouldn't be told. It's not like the Rangers moves in and of myths....do they..? Seriously WHY did those 3 show up in Outfoxed!? Was it so the Rangers could beat this villain or what..? If there's no time altering reason than why appear mere seconds after the new stars were formed?

OrangerRangerVideos While it is true Tommy was being a bit of a glory hog in this, I think that the scene of the Falcon zord destroying Lord Drayvon, had the same idea as Forever Red, it makes no sense to do an anniversary in their eyes unless there is some kind of toy pushing tactic in there somewhere. Like Forever Red with Cole's super motorcycle destroying Serpentera once and for all it's nothing more than an attempt to boost toy sales for the MMPR Movie Falcon Zord to the kid power ranger fans, and most kids mainly go after what they see in the show, and since they saw Tommy's Falcon zord in action, they'll go to their parents and say. "Mom, Dad I want Tommy's Falcon zord." That's all that is, simple toy pushing commercialism.

I found this episode a tad mediocre. Most of the former rangers' dialogue was just exposition or generic. It didn't show off much of their character, so it felt like they were just there to wear the suits for the fight scenes. That instamorph was just upsetting, since it should have been so easy to get right given how many times a teamup morph has been done right before. I honestly stopped watching this show due to the insulting moral of the day. In addition of just of the premise being high schoolers playing ninja and trying too hard to be like MMPR. Which I thought hey maybe I give it another try with the anniversary show which failed to make me want to get back into it. Due to the over-focus on Tommy, how rushed it was, and the other rangers including the ninja steel team feeling like filler. I still feel like the team up would have been better with the return of Ninja Storm, Ninjetti, and Alien Rangers. Which the premise would have been that the Ninja Steel team although show promise of being rangers but just getting by due to it. Meaning due to lacking the basic concepts of being a ninja without stock footage, being overconfident and failing due to the temporary loss of their zords. If they still wanted to keep the dimensions part and include non-ninja rangers I say keep Wes and Koda. Plus if this was a two-parter this episode could of serve as the continuation of the current team earning their new zords and getting their old ones to work and stall for the meantime.

We did see Tommy use Dino Thunder Black, just not in the fight. I agree that Tommy got a bit too much focus. Someone else said, but I agree that maybe Tommy should have rescued last so the other rangers had more time in the spotlight. Also Ninja Steel would've been better overall if the returning rangers had been dropping in throughout the season as cloaked figures to act as mentor figures so this crossover was built up a bit more. @@cnawsomgangsteofgames3452 in season 2 of MMPR, there is an episode where a wizard creates a clone of Tommy, named Tom Oliver, that used the Green Ranger powers, complete with the Dragon Zord.
