Japan - the magic land, where technology going hand in hand with nature, where traditions going hand in hand with modern age. An incredible place to start live by normal calm life , very nice place in world - I like that second track in this video :) - greetings from Czech republic .
@CasseyCZ10 жыл бұрын
Yes , I know it, I read about it in some news and magazines, and the cities, so we can speak or not, every city is not calm. i going to work, where i operating CNC machines, many noises , in my case in 12 hours long shifts, also not calm place , I know this can bring headache, sometimes I have them. But that cities, high technology level, unique culture, music, and other showing level of this country in world, yes Japan have also negatives, but trust me, Middle Europe have much more of them. Japan have order and level. What should I idealize, Corruption through entire Czechia, selfishness , high criminality , superiority of Gypsies that can do illegal and crime things to normal peoples wihthout punishment?, high prices, low pay for work,for useless courts , mafia orientated politics, that are triyng make sometimes nonsense laws for only theirs profit , for theirs indebtedness that affecting again only peoples again and again ?. Sorry honey, I living here for 20 years and nothing through this 20 years not goes better for nobody. I think, this country not deserve title "republic" , not for all, what doing for working peoples, for clearly me is Czech republic worthless, I hate this country, and I will not only one, who this thinks . Take this as friendly tip, don't go to Czech republic, instead of old buildings nothing good awaits for you here. I trying to be good guy, but i will not idealize somethig so bad as my country, I'd rather watch grow Sakura , drink tea instead of beer, and listen sound of Shamisen.

Ignore the people warning you about Japan. I'm half-japanese, and have family in Tokyo whom I visit every other year. It's a truly amazing country, so beautiful and rich in culture. Who cares if it's more western influenced, it's still SOOOOO different. It is a place everyone should visit at least once in their lives. Also, you'll be treated like a foreigner wherever you go that's not your country so who gives a fack lol, if it makes you happy then that's all that matters. Good luck :]

I do not think Sakuhachi flute played here, they are called Sho flute played for Gagaku. Sho has many lutes to blow not a single lute. Gagaku means MUSIC of GRACE.

You probably heard it in Mike Tyson's Punch Out on the nes when you we're fighting Piston Honda. Haha! Or even in Shogun 2 Total War. You can here that song as well. It is very popular in traditionnal music in Japan.

Well ... Sakura is the Japanese cherry tree, a symbol of Japan. This instrumental is a traditional song sung in the Hanami festival every year. Sakura is also a very traditional female name in Japan among women. Maybe she is called Sakura because her hair is pink as the Sakura tree.

No, it comes from the cherry blossom tree named "Sakura". Sakura is a popular name, and if an anime character has pink hair there's a big chance her name is Sakura, that due to the color of the cherry flowers.

So I looked up Japanese scales to practice on guitar and found that I really enjoyed them. Now maybe I'm wrong and I'm completely tone-deaf, but this sounds as though it is utilizing the Hirajoshi scale in the key of D. I only say this because I was playing along to this music (in the key of D) and found that I could consistently harmonize by playing on this scale. I don't know why I'm even mentioning it, but it felt quite magnificent to say the least. haha..
@Joxsund10 жыл бұрын
hirajoshi scale confuses me cause ive seen three different versions of it i foundn all you need to do to sound japanese is play a pantatonic minor scale while the other scales just change to a lowered 2nd/5th/7th
@xmoebiusaeternax10 жыл бұрын
Judson Seeley It's easy to understand how one can become confused. The Hirajoshi consists of five modes whose names and intervals vary from region to region; not to mention the fact that some of these modes are also incorporated into completely different scale-forms from all around Japan (and all around the world for that matter). I approached my study of Japanese scales by first comparing them to more commonly used Western scale-forms and modes like the Locrian and Phrygian. While there were some similarities, there were also a number of big differences that I felt made the more traditional Japanese scales interesting. I was playing in D-Standard at the time (DGCFAD) which is why I chose to play in the key of D. Starting at the 12th fret I moved the entire scale up one whole-step (because my reference was in C), and found that the lower-end of the scale coincided almost perfectly with roughly the first 5 minutes of this video. If you are in E-Standard you can just as easily play starting at the 10th fret, but you would no longer be able to incorporate open-notes within the scale (or at least not as many). I like having open-note alternatives to any given scale so as to have variety, but that's my personal style. Here's my initial reference if you want it. It's only just where I started, but the Hirajoshi scale shown on this web page is nearly identical to what I played with this video; in the key of D however, not C, as I mentioned before. www.guitarcommand.com/japanese-scales/
