Dimlama is one of the most popular dishes in Uzbekistan. He is considered a participant of the "Kitchen of the Peoples of the World" competition. The combination of meat with various vegetables and greens makes this dish not only tasty and healthy, but also festively bright and beautiful. A special feature of stewing is that all vegetables are cut into large pieces, picked in layers, and stewed for a long time with meat. And, of course, a wonderful collection of spices - cilantro, cumin, bell pepper and red pepper play an important role. This combination is often widely used in Uzbek cuisine and gives dishes a unique taste.
PRODUCTS NEEDED FOR DIMLAM:
1 kg of lamb or beef;
1 kg of cabbage;
5 medium carrots;
6 medium-sized tomatoes;
9-10 potatoes;
6 medium sweet peppers (bell pepper);
4-5 onions;
3 heads of garlic;
dill, parsley and cilantro;
100 ml of vegetable oil
cumin, coriander, pepper, red pepper, bay leaf, salt;
