Ithink that "Spiritual Black Dimensions" and "Enthrone Darkness Triumphant" are the best Dimmu albums and this is one of their best songs. Hail old Dimmu!!!
@illahee249 жыл бұрын
For sure. This and The Insight and the Catharsis are their best, hands down.

+Gabriel Black I love that song!!! Seriously I MISS Vortex so much... he was such an amazing asset to this bad. They royally fucked up letting him leave imo.
@nivrothvalachus79697 жыл бұрын
yeah, i agree. i like every single dimmu album, but if i'd be to name the best, i'd say these 2 also. but i'm subjective because those were also the first 2 albums i've got on tape, back in high school. and in that time, we perceived music differently, by listening a few new tapes every month. so these 2 albums, spiritual and enthrone, probably got deeply under my skin and in the most hidden corners of the brain :)))) nostalgic music, meh.. also, i use spiritual black dimensions very often when i wanna take an afternoon nap. i simply let the cd on repeat, and it's the best day sleep i can get. :)

Stormblast is a great álbum
@AlexanderMystery9 жыл бұрын
Often people judged them that they're not "trew kewl" black metal , i say they are still the best atmospheric black metal band that ever existed even today!!! sure a bit more easy to swallow and not that fast as other bands but still one of the best, lovely piece of music and Shagrath is a genius!!!
@attilawerner93667 жыл бұрын
Completely agree. They are able to create a mixture of brutality, melody and darkness as no one else. Behemoth, altough being very different, is another band, who are making the same impression on me, with being totally genuine, creative and different from the "usual" black metal scene with their last 2-3 albums. Dimmu Borgir and Behemoth are both considered as mainstream nowadays, but I think, they are just pioneers, and what they are creating is pure art.
@valerieblackthorn133 жыл бұрын
They're style is not atmospheric. They have always been Symphonic Black Metal. Nowadays, their music has a little bit of industrial elements.

@ramielaoud4400 Well, I am happy of what we had anyway with DB - and we result with a nice pack of albums to play from time to time. Would be nice to get a few vinyls when I have a player, tbh. Some go, others come. There are tons of great bm bands around, and I think that BM was never as good as it is last 15 years) In this exact moment spinning latest Cult of Erinyes release, so good!

@@illumina1992i'll be checking that band, thx for the recommendation. I kinda got out of the loop, whenever i feel like listening to BM i turn to the good old stuff 😢

Dimmu Borgir always did what they wanted and for that I respect them. They are truly one of the best symphonic blackmetal bands in the World.

I think spiritual black dimension is so underrated. You can clearly see their twisted mind specialy on this album
@Guitaristguy9 жыл бұрын
+Toni Pjanic I always thought it was their "breakthrough" record. Definetly one of their strongest albums up to date.
@Mandilore899 жыл бұрын
+Toni Pjanic This album is heavily underrated because Astennu is such a FIERCE lead guitarist! To me, this album had THE best line-up and if they took Astennu with them instead of Galder and let ICS Vortex sing more, this band probably could have been even BIGGER.
