When it has to be BADASS and BEAUTIFUL, it has to be Dimmu Borgir.

I liked the old dimmu aswell but i dont think the new is bad, they are much better musicians now then back in days, better guitars more tight riffts, and alot better drums. Compared to how bad cradle of fith is these days dimmu still keep it the wild metal style. Born Treacherous is one of my favorits of all time, i like the guitar in the part were they have the silent part and goes nuts after thats really great

I agree. I think Dimmu has matured and opened their horizons to a much higher level than most bands. They sure know how to entertain and make a perfect live show and it shows. Very professional and classy yet dark and brutal at the same time. Love it! A++++++

Thats bullshit, Dimmu has always had "classical" influences, this is only the first time they play it with the backing of a full-blown Orchestra.
@cancelled_user Жыл бұрын
First time? This is 2011. They played with a live orchestra much earlier than this.

They felt the need to compensate for such a massive loss to the band. First, Barker in 04...then Vortex and Mustis 5 years later. Sad.

old albums was great. newer albums are weak. for example immortal, gehenna, gorgoroth, emperor, is still good. i know emperor is split. and swedish black metal bands. dark funeral, marduk, sorhin. it´s black metal. this is children´s metal :))

Você deve ser um fanático de merda, toda banda precisa de mudança amigo, e Dimmu Borgir mudou pra melhor, diferente de Slipknot, pare de se apegar a rótulos amigo!
