Dennyboy a key signature basically dictates the notes that are played. Depending on the scale/ key that is used you would play different notes. Like in a B flat major scale you would play different notes then an A sharp major scale. Tl;dr music theory is hard

I have listened to many songs of "this genre" but nothing feels close to Dimrain47 songs. This man is on the whole another level of making music so I always think of Dimrains songs as a separate genre. Not techno, not trance of something like that. Nothing feels the same as his masterpieces
