Finally yesterday, after a year of on and off revisiting this lick, I could smoothly integrate it in a (medium tempo) groove! It has it all: control of accents and ghost notes, moving around the kit (and then control the ghost notes) and keeping the flow in a groove. It works in purple haze ;) and also combines nicely with the six stroke roll, para diddle diddle (or diddle para diddle, first diddle on hats) and even "Bonham triplets". Thank you Max! Meinl Profile Dragon, either a china ride or ride. I used to have a 20”, sold it now I have a 18” china crash. They are pretty rare. Check guitar center used cymbals online
