Bayaan is very underrated. They should be more appreciated because: 1. They don't just do the 'tu meri, men tera' type romantic songs. Their lyrics are always so meaningful and deep. 2. They also don't just slap a simple C major scale on their lyrics and churn out songs. The composition is almost so complex and beautifully woven. Each of their songs seems to have a purpose. It is made out of a reason, out of love for that song. The existence of each song seems justified.

Beautifully articulated. It is also the band that commits to purpose and excellence at so many levels. There are the composition and the music, there are the lyrics, there is the velvety voice, the singing, and then there is also the vocalist’s flawless pronunciation - something that used to be a given in the old days, but is preciously rare today. I can simply not get enough of Bayaan.

Each one has their own mirror showing them their "reality" at the individual level and your mirror shows you YOUR reality, i.e. them as a band, battered and in rippped up clothes, but still performing, each of them facing their own mirrors, but coming together as a band and jamming happily

This song is about addiction each individual have in their life which is often hidden from others. One guy is addicted to drugs, second addicted to watching porn on his laptop, third is addicted is unhappy relationship with a woman. They have remorse but do it often to escape it from reality. They are functional during the day time but looking for dark hours again in the night ( Din Dhalay shaam ho) so they can feed their addiction again to overcome their sorrow.

The vocalist Afsar Hussain is the the amazing lyricist of most of these songs. You better try their other songs as well, to my surprise you both don't seem to be very fond of their music. Instead of the video a little more emphasis and focus on their lyrics and composition could have been better.
