She looked so nice, just like her mom and dad. At least now, she's not in pain anymore, swimming with her grandpa Tilly in that big ocean in paradise. RIP Baby Kyara

thank you for watching, thats why its there for, for everyone to watch and enjoy :) i know its hard, for me it was harder to accept Tilikums death as of course he was my favorite orca....for me im sad for Kyuquot, and everyone at seaworld, but he is there to continue her daughters and fathers legacy....
@TBONE_20047 жыл бұрын
Here's a question. How is Kyuquot doing? He's not suffering from depression over the loss of his daughter, is he? I recall he was very sad when his mother, Haida II, died back in 2001. Ky is such a majestic orca, and deserves his happiness. He and Takara both... Hey, here's an idea, how about lifting the breeding ban just once so they can try again? It would benefit both Ky and Takara's mental health as well!

i wish all you guys were there as well, she was a blessing, short but sweet life....just thinking how she could have been growing up with her sisters, Sakari is slowly becoming more serious, compared to Kamea who still enjoys being a "baby" orca very playful....much like Amaya/Makani....

so sad about baby kyara I wish seaworld would end the ban it's not fair to stop something natural and I wish they would add another pool that had underwater viewing I think kamea and sakari would love it and I heard takara loved it

yeah i heard Takara loved interacting with people in the SUV while in SWC...

I wish that they would be able to continue to let the orcas breed, just not using AI, and not encouraging it.

SWT has such an interesting pool layout. I do like how the trainers here are more descriptive about the daily husbandry and care of the orcas. SWC they just say 'we feed them jello and kelp'. No further explanation. I need to start traveling and hitting the other parks up, hoping SWO this year maybe.
@Tilikum167 жыл бұрын
yes they do, prior to me coming in 2015, i had to review @seawolftheorca's videos as their main show pool is actually shaped like a whale, one of the trivia questions lol and also years back that dome top used to be see through which gave audience natural lighting for the orcas if youve seen old videos of SWT it looked different due to that...look it up, old pictures of Shamu Theater(not even called stadium unlike SWC or SWF) , now its dark and kind of murky.....one thing i dont like about SWC is Shamu stadium, you are baked in the sun alive(but tons of natural lighting) SWF would be my favorite, or used to since Tilikum lived there... now i think its SWT to due his first born son, Kyuquot...im so sorry, one of my pet peeves no offense to you lol but they used to call them by states SWC-SW of California, SWF- SW of Florida and SWT-SW of Texas SWO would have been SW of Ohio(which closed a while back), i do understand you meant SW Orlando if we go by cities lol no big deal :) and yes, its cheaper to fly all the way to Florida from California than flying to Texas, have no idea why, thats y i mostly go to Florida, other than Tilikum used to be there... forgot to ask or if i asked already whose ur favorite orca?
@Kiryuu2387 жыл бұрын
Oh no my bad!I can definitely see the SWO to SWF confusion. I used to live in Pittsburgh and used to visit Geauga Lake and Seaworld Ohio as a kid (oh no I'm showing my age here). I guess because we foresaw the downfall of the park before the rest of the country I can see how it can still be confused. Its ashame too since it was a beautiful park, they spent a great deal keeping the gardens trimmed and was a treat to walk through. They also had a large Commersons Dolphin pool and I used to spend hours watching those little guys. I do know about the baking in the sun at San Diego, I'm pretty pale even though I live in Arizona, so anytime I go to San Diego I usually burn to a crisp. I travel a great deal for work and California is my most visited state, so I always make time to see the whales. I may have a trip coming up in the fall for Orlando so I'm trying my best to schedule in some Seaworld time. As for my favorite whale I would have to say it is Kasatka, with Ulises being a very close second. Its interesting to since it was Kayla I saw the most as a kid, but its always been Kasatka that I loved.
@Tilikum167 жыл бұрын
lol like i said no big deal lol just one of my pet peeves, lol im not big on showing my age either lol but i still love seeing the orcas, lol i love the big guys, and girls lol Tilikum, then Kyuquot, Ulises and Corky....did you have any videos of SWO lol ohio i mean? i have seen some, you seem to know the park well, it had two back pools right? no Shamu underwater Viewing too right? well hopefully you enjoy Orlando, take lots of videos!! lol thanks

Tilikum16 sorry for the late reply, I've been in the road for business. Sadly I do not have any video, I have some pictures somewhere though. Should dig them out and scan them. Yes the stadium/pool setup was unusual, but I think it was because they had dolphins and orcas sharing the same space, I'm not sure if they ever had them in the same pool together. There was the large front show pool that was under a metal awning that covered even the stage, 2 visible side pools, and what appeared to be a auxiliary pool that was covered by blue mesh walls(I've always assumed this was a med pool area). So basically a large circle, split in half, with 3 partitions in the back. To my knowledge no under water viewing or dine with shamu. You could easily see into the side pools though, the concrete walls were quite low.

I'm so glad you got to see Kyara. Were you able to see her between show times?
@Tilikum167 жыл бұрын
wish you guys were able to see her too, she was a tiny bundle of joy :) and no since only SWF does that, leave the stadium open, between shows, as im able to see neat training sessions at times, but SWT is the least visible in terms of orcas, as they dont have a SUV(Shamu Underwater Viewing) and no in between shows, SWC is the most exposed in my opinion... btw did you use to film at SWC? lol ur name looks familiar :)
@katiecooper13877 жыл бұрын
Nah, I just ask a lot of questions, so you might see me around KZbin. :) I've commented on your vids before. You post some great stuff. I've never been to SeaWorld, but if I did, it would definitely be SWC.

I love Killer whales there are so cute and baetuful i love Tilikum and i love keoko the Best orca ever good video but Poor there but be free.❤️😍💕😊😘😁👍😃👌😀😮😧
and since there breeding program supposedly ended with the death of the trainer in Orlando that caused OSHAs investigation it's amazing that at least 2 whales have been born.
@orphanaccount-l8r7 жыл бұрын
Nan Borton The breeding program ended last year...I don't know what you're talking about with OSHA, they lifted those orders quite sometime ago and only implemented them in the Orlando park.

Question: does anyone know why the killer whales wiggle their tongues? You can see it a few times in this video. Is it an anticipatory behavior?
@NanaNan17 жыл бұрын
I see how OSHA's ruling that BARRIERS are in place when trainers are working with the whales is being enforced! What a joke.
@rosiewatson69947 жыл бұрын
This is probably why she died. This is very stressful for mom and baby. Cortisol decreases the immune system's ability to respond, making her already weak immune system able to respond to pathogens.
@aphroditewitch7 жыл бұрын
It has nothing to do with why she died. And shame on you for promoting false information.
