Dinengdeng is a dish of the Ilocano people of the Philippines, similar to pinakbet. It is classified as a bagoong monamon soup based dish.
Ingredients:
5 cups Water
1 Red Onion, julienne
1 thumbsize Ginger, slice
3 Tomatoes, sliced
4 1/2 tbsp Fermented Fish Sauce
1/2 tsp Ground Pepper
50 grams Dried Shrimp (Hibe)
10 pcs String Beans, cut into 3-inches pieces
8 pcs Lady Fingers, cut into two
1 medium Bitter Gourd, cored and sliced
2 Eggplant,
1 small Squash, slice
1 bundle Malabar Spinach Leaves
6 pcs Squash Flower, removed the core and petals
1 bundle Nalta Jute leaves
1 bundle Moringa Leaves
3 pcs Green Chili
Fried or Grilled Fish, (any kind of fish that you like)
