As a cop and paramedic, I've unfortunately been present when many people took their last breaths. I can say that on at least 2 occasions I witnessed something that can only be explained as supernatural. One day, as I sat next to the bed of a close friend who was dying of cancer, I saw something profound. My friend had been suffering through brain cancer from melanoma. He lived a few years after diagnosis but the end was rough. Toward the end, he was bed-ridden and slept most of the time as he was on strong pain meds. He and his parents wanted him to die at home so he was set up with a hospital bed in the living room of his parent's home. Close friends were welcomed and encouraged to visit . We had been there for a few hours that day but had no reason to believe he was going to die right then or even that day. I had been keeping track of his respirations per minute. He was holding his own. I sat next to the bed and my friend was between me and the pitcher window roughly 8 feet away. It was a sunny February and the room was filled with afternoon sunshine. I still struggle to articulate what I experienced next but I'll try. I remember feeling the air in the room change...like it became heavier and more dense. The room also seemed smaller all of the sudden. At the moment I felt the air change, I noticed something also changed with the light as well. It's as though the sunlight slightly faded and yellowed ..like someone had put a sheet of clear cellophane over the big window. I looked up and I saw something that I'll never forget. Imagine if someone was made of semi-clear slightly-yellow gelatin and they went from a position of laying on the bed to a standing position. That is exactly what I saw. It was about the size and shape of a human, but barely visible. Only the refraction of the light through it allowed me to see it. Kinda like the special effects on the movie Predator when it was invisible... It just stood there between the bed and window, but not over the bed. I could not see any features just refracted light in the shape of a person. It moved from left to right toward the foot of the bed which is where his parents sat, it lingered there for a few seconds then moved back to the left toward a wall at the head of his bed. I then heard what I can only describe as the sound you hear when you hit two rocks together under water. One muffled click only. In that same instant, the image quickly moved through the wall as if it wasn't there and it was gone. Somehow, I knew I had just witnessed my friend's soul leave his body. I nervously looked around the room to see if anyone else had seen it too...they had not. I also realized I was the only person in the room who knew my friend was no longer with us. I said nothing. About a minute or 2 later, his mother knew it too. She screamed in a way only a mother could. It scared me. It took years for me to talk about what I saw and I have absolutely no doubt I saw his soul move on. I also know without a doubt, there is something beyond this plain of existence. I was never an overly religious person. I was young and hadn't really devoted much thought to it. I had no religious upbringing either so I was about as spiritually neutral as a person could be. No more. I highly recommend that everyone reject everything the atheist says. It's bullshit. They may believe what they say but I'd wager if they saw what I saw, they'd change their tunes. I don't know where we're going, but we're going somewhere. I also recommend we get right before that day comes. I don't know if all the things we've been told about religion are bullshit too, but common sense tells me that there is a hereafter and karma is a thing. Get right with your God in whatever way seems right. I personally believe there is a creator of all things and we have a set of moral principles installed in our operating systems at birth by that creator. We all know right from wrong, good from bad. Knowingly going against those moral principles seems counter-intuitive. Believe what you wish but my instincts are to be as good of a person as I can be. Hope to see you all on the other side.

What an amazing experience. The atheists never seem to address the fact that many times living breathing people sometimes see the deceased person when they have no idea that the person had died, only to find out later that they saw him or her at the very time of death,, if these sightings are experienced by living people with no brain dysfunction, how can this be explained away?

Jesus is an historical figure, who NEVER WROTE ANYTHING down and was succeeded by a group of people who sought Earthly power and could have attributed anything they wanted to Him. The Roman government took over the Christian religion and Bible and could have altered whatever they wanted in traditional scripture to suit their desire for exclusivity and power. I was raised in the Catholic religion, and even as a child, I found their authoritarianism and circuitous explanations of reality suspect. I don't think, that Jesus lied, but as for those, who came after Him, I have no idea.

I mean there's tons of evidence that people who suffer brain damage lose whole parts of their personality and have their personality changed and lose all sense of their self and their former self. Academic atheists have an agenda. Academia is their religion and their identity. One thing that seems to be consistent in every academic I've ever known is that they will never admit they don't know. They won't even admit the possibility of God which proves they lack objectivity. There is far more evidence to support a creator than there is to support the theory that life began when lightning struck a lump of mud in a puddle. They would have much more credibility if they simply said "we don't know"...but they can't do that because then they are no different than the rest of us. Academics are just used car salesmen at the end of the day and atheists are among the sleaziest of the bunch. They def rank above Climate Scientists though. Satanists also have an agenda. Are you able to discern if an Academic Atheist is also a Satanist? The wise man errors on the side of a creator. Satan definitely believes in God and his goal is to convince as many of you as possible that God doesn't exist

Quote: _"They won't even admit the possibility of God which proves they lack objectivity."_ That comment is insightful and I think it could be applied to the admitted atheist whose comment appears just above yours. Quote: _"There is far more evidence to support a creator than there is to support the theory that life began when lightning struck a lump of mud in a puddle."_ I once read where R.C. Sproul said _'If there was ever a point where 'nothing' existed then nothing would ever exist. Not even God would exist because He would have to be before He was. That's a contradiction in terms'._ I've used Dr. Sproul's reasoning but atheists dismiss it with some rationalization that amounts to 'Poof, there it is'. In my experience, it's a heart issue as opposed to a logical one.

Without causing too much enemies, I believe in life after death, simply because it's absolutely mental that we are alive at this moment. There is no reason for us to be here, and without getting too much into a 'god', there should be nothing forever rather than something for a limited time. The fact that we are something rather than nothing, is proof to me that there's something going on beyond our control. I believe whatever it is will never be known, and that's okay. When we die, our souls continue on and on and on forever. Life is like a slingshot, before you're flung out into the unknown, and death is just the start. I remember when I was a kid, I saw a quote in a book that said 'you can't write or talk about life until you've lived it.' It always stuck with me. I know that there is an unexplainable source within me, emanating light and love, and that source cannot be controlled, only diverted, you still with me? Meditation taught me that. The claim, "I know there is no God.", is no different then the claim, "I know there is a God.", and yet atheists act like they are stating a verifiable act, while treating the followers of religions as if they are liars. Guess what? Aren’t our bodies made of matter? Isn’t there a universal law of: E=MC squared? Doesn’t that basically equate to: MATTER EQUALS ENERGY? So if our bodies are made up of MATTER , which equates to ENERGY and ENERGY CANNOT BE CREATED OR DESTROYED, ONLY TRANSFERRED, then where does that energy go? It can only be transferred. Jesus said that He spoke in parables so that seeing the people may NOT SEE and hearing they may NOT COMPREHEND. The reason for this is because the people had already rejected Him, so He let them sink deeper into unbelief. Today is the day of salvation, may the people be granted this truth!

Also, is there an afterlife for all dying animals? What happens to a 2 day old infant child if they are unfortunate to pass away? They are born then 2 days later they die. They haven't even lived any part of their life. Do they have an afterlife where they can continue to grow and live their life? Before we are born, there is nothing, we don't exist. We have no existence, so why should we believe that when we die we have something other than no existence again?? Physics is physical and logic is logical and when it comes to NDE's logic and physics dictate that it's your dying (but still active) brain showing you all this "afterlife" images, nothing more than that.

I want to share with you redemption offered by our Creator. Because good works will NEVER offer redemption for us. Why? Lets say you and I live a good(in our eyes) life, we do the right things and don't offend. Lets say that's possible. There are things we SHOULD do that we do not do that will make us accountable for our actions. Therefore works or not doing what is right, can never offer redemption. However. There is Only One Way that you or I can achieve redemption from a Just Creator. That is His Way. Right? How He says how we're going to fix this broken relationship between Creator and you and I. And He said we'll fix this relationship through what My Son has done for you at the Cross, all we need to do is believe and accept that free Gift of God, and He will forgive us of breaking the Laws He set into place, and even forgive us for the things we should do that we have not done in our lives. If you try and do it by being good? You're labor is in vain. "For God did not send His Son into the world to condemn the world, but that the world through Him might be saved." John 3:17 It is your Creators desire, even unto His Son's death, that you should be redeemed from this sinful nature of ours. Accept Jesus as your redeemer and be transformed, or born again into a new life. When we die, we end up somewhere for eternity, some people belong in prison(Hell) for eternity, and many will end up there. Some might say "well I dont like that". God doesn't require our approval. He is Just. Remember He gave us life, He gave us a garden, He gave us a partner(Woman) He gave us dominion over the earth, He even gave us His Son as redemption for our souls, is it not enough?

I am an atheist and I would love to live forever. I am sure there are many others like me. So it's a ridiculous statement to say we don't want an afterlife because we're afraid of what comes after. I do agree with Dinesh that no one knows what comes after death. But his near-death experiences are not proof that 'consciousness and experience can survive the breakdown of the bodily functions' because those people were NOT dead, or at least their bodies were not breaking down for the mere seconds that they could be said to be clinically dead (which is just a definition by the way). It is equally likely that the brain starts doing funny things when it's in the process of dying. Anyone who has ever taken a mind altering drug will recognize those near death experiences because they've gone through them without dying. Does that mean it's just the brain misfiring? I don't know. We don't know, and we probably never will. But there is zero PROOF for an afterlife, and Dinesh didn't present any here.

In the case of the "near-death-experience", there is NO DEATH, so I don't see how this can be evidence of anything that happens AFTER DEATH.
@artmclellen46112 жыл бұрын
It is call resurrection. All will die that is just a fact God told Adam before he sinned. Jesus died for the sin and gave us eternal life. its that simple. there is no death experience. the dead know nothing. Read your bible kjv

I agree with Dan on alot of things about the Bible. Clearly a man made book but I think he may be wrong in this debate about life after death. Who knows though but the many near death experiences are very telling.

1:39 - "Their brains have stopped showing any signs of activity" I have questions: 1) If a person is in such a critical state, that he/she is very close to dying, why and how would doctors have time to attach equipment that can measure brain activity? Wouldn't they do everything they can, to revive the person? 2) If the brain has stopped showing any signs of activity, which means brain dead, how can they come back and explain their experience? 3) We don't even really know what dreaming is. How can we know what goes on, when the brain is withheld oxygen to the point of near death? 4) Here's a near death experience from a man who was dead for three and a half minutes: kzbin.info/www/bejne/o4qqdJ1qqNdsgck. Why is his so different? He's a child of God as well, right? 5) Could it be, that these people are just lying? Zealots will do a lot of weird stuff to protect their specific belief: kzbin.info/www/bejne/rmPbqqWboZJlrKs (definitely worth the watch).

I believe, that life can just be interrupted at times, somewhat like a computer glitch, with no damage at all to its mechanisms. After all, time is just a perception of motion; it is nothing in and of itself. So why wouldn't life be able to stop its motion from time to time, with the body/brain not experiencing time ? So we on the outside experience time, however the body on the gurney does not experience this time, and therefore it doesn't start to break down.

Dan is a typical liar, and thinking that he's a good one is trying to convince us to believe his lie. The fact that he states he would love to have life after death and would be accountable for all he's done, is a lie. A person like that never ever accepts accountability. He's lying there, and he's lying now! Thank you Dinesh! You speak from your heart and you don't waver!

Near death experiences . . . hmmm ? I joke, that I have a "near-death experience" every time I cross a busy street. It seems that this is the only hint of evidence Dinesh puts forward. I don't think, that the brain needs to be "dying" to have these experiences, which Dinesh proves in his statements. So if signs of physical life are absent for a very short time, and the person comes back to normal, the brain obviously hasn't died, or possibly even been injured. Dinesh firmly states, that NO ONE has any idea what comes after death. Therefore, the title of this video is misleading and as they say "click-bait". I don't think, that the absence of life after death negates the idea of God either. Men have postulated, that energy cannot be created or destroyed, it can only change form. I don't know if "life-energy" is some special form of energy, or it is simply general energy, which dissipates into the ether, when it leaves the body. Is our "life-energy" different that of that of a crow ? Why would that be ? I suspect, that our belief in a "life-after-death", comes from the fact, that is tremendously difficult for us to accept, that someone, whom we knew and loved has just disappeared into oblivion, into non-existence, except in our minds and hearts. We don't WANT to believe, that that is possible.

But your a monkey believing fool why in the world would I ever listen to you? That's so stupid the Bible obviously says the exact opposite and your so brainwashed you just come to this guy's defense. When people look up to a figure and he leads them astray with a teaching that is NOT part of scripture, the Bible calls that's a false teacher.
