I've got a 5 string version on pre order. Can't wait! Does the volume stay fairly consistent on all settings? Also how's the low end? On my ng2 in passive mode it looses alot of bass on all the single coil settings. It's fine because of the preamp is there to balance everything out. I'm hoping the D roc is thick and punchy on all settings.

Middle pickup reminds me a lot of a Rickenbacker, I was pretty pleased with the one I played a little while ago when I discovered that. That being said, that was the only setting I liked, there should be one for the neck and bridge pickup, kind of disappointing that I'd have to wire that myself on such an expensive instrument.
