This was a great interview….you can tell she read his book….I have read his book….it’s fantastic

His book came out in 2003. This is 1992-93 a good 10 years before his book. She’s just a good interviewer and did a great job asking intelligent questions and engaging in her observations. What a beautiful time in history. When people were respectful, kind and non judgemental towards each other. Yanni’s music reflects that sense of human greatness, while also being simple and easy to connect with sans any arrogance or fake ego.

Most people do the mistake to being hostage to the written sheet/notes, when in fact music is auditory, emotional and motional driven, and that can not be fully expressed with signs on a paper. Remebering a music piece is like remeber how a word is spoken after the first letter, its automatic from memory both auditory and muscle memory in how to play.
