Is it true that the Dinka Bor are Luos who fled northwards with Rwot Owiny when the Tekidi settlement collapsed in the 16th century? From what I understand they were assimilated into the Dinka as a sub-tribe but they still speak the Luo language. Their name comes from the Luo word 'bor' (far) referring to how far they travelled. Could someone confirm this?
