They don't make movies like this anymore. I was in high school when this movie came out. Watching this really brings me back to those days, really miss the 80's best time of my life. Life's to short, its gone by way to fast.

I bought this album on vinyl and have the cd as well....and just like in this video this version doesn't have the sax solo :( What a fantastic movie. The 80s was the last magical time before everything got so dark. It was still about bright colors, fun, and being young while discovering the world.

Glad to see love for Diane Franklin where I can find it other than inside my own heart and soul...she was truly beautiful and talented enough to arrest me the first time I saw this. You've got to check out her autobiography if you haven't yet heard about it...it's like falling in love all over again.

IT IS ONLY WITH THIS KIND OF MEMORIES THAT I CAN, TODAY, BELIEVE I WAS PART OF SOMETHING SO SPECIAL, SO NICE ,THAT ACTUALLY CAN DEFEAT DEATH AND BRING HER BACK TO LIVE OUR LOVE, LIKE BEFORE, THE WAY IT SHOULD HAVE BEEN... MISS YOU SO MUCH, BABE, CANNOT WRITE ANYMORE...

It wasn’t the material things layne used, it was the thought and effort. If you find a woman impressed with thought and effort over materialistic things, she’s a keeper!

After watching this film im glad Lane didn't go for Beth in the end. Lane deserves a girl like Monique. Unlike beth who just dumped her because he is not as famous as Roy.
