Hey randy, Loved these dishes, and you singing. I make a similar lovely corn summer dish I think/know you’d also love. Dede’s Delight 4 ears of corn Cut raw corn off cobs, foam a good knob of sweet butter in large skillet. Add corn, Salt and pepper. Cook for just a few minutes til corn is just heated....NOT COOKED!!1. Remove skillet from heat. (You can hold it here til service time.) To serve, reheat corn just a bit if it’s cooled off, then strew a couple of big handfuls of diced, wonderful, ripe and juicy red tomatoes over the top. Cover the tomatoes with a very generous shower of fresh green “chiffonade” of basil. Don’t stir these in. You want it layered.....The result is sweet/savoury herby/pungent warm salad, which, like your succotash, is a great foil/side for fish, chicken, steak, etc. Keeps the kitchen cool on a hot night too. Always a crowd pleaser......As I live in Maine, I usually serve it with lobster and white wine, some garlic bread. Orgasmic dinner party. Dede Wilder

Trop drôle, ma chère !! ah ma chère, I do love how you sprinkle here and there a few french words.. I feel it is a little *wink* at me each time. Now back to the recipe... I am having a very informal and relax diner with friends tomorrow night (Friday the 7th) and I am going to make that chicken recipe. I was to cook chicken anyway.. therefore this recipe comes just in time and I will make the Succotash (just for the fun and great taste). Of course, je vais servir JOSH as I am totally in love with as well as my friends are. Leonard was so funny with his licking his lips as you were holding him at the end.. he was sure wanting to have a taste of that chicken LOL. Trop mignon ce petit chien. A bientôt. Until later, to all of you there behind the scene with Randy, much love and appreciation oxox

Randy, this is my favorite way to cook. Everything in one pan! Although I love to do fussier/fancy every once in a while, these kind of meals are my go to dishes, especially for informal dinners. Can't wait to try out both on my group. By the way, I have ordered that fab little sheet pan for my mise en place. My kitchen is basically a butler's pantry with plumbing, so anything that helps me organize is a real plus. Thanks to you and your team for another great vid.

Sauteed lettuce served with oyster sauce drizzled over it (instead of using salt) is a very common Chinese family dish. Your succotash is a glorified version of said dish I might need to try to make. Thanks for the idea.

@@dinnerpartytonight I made it and tasted good as expected. Had to substitute white beans with red as that's what I had on hand. Omitted tomatoes as oyster sauce doesn't work well with acidic food. I dunno how to send you the picture as I am not on any social media.
