@Anekix Yeah, I agree with you. Jungle was around before it was being defined within a genre. Many experimental tracks ended up under the jungle umbrella once the genre was defined. It wasn't the people who listened to and produced early jungle who thought 'hey, we want a genre to define this new music which doesn't fit into existing genres'. Ragga jungle is a common name in the US. That's all. It is not always referring to a sub genre, but the jungle genre has more than one name. Peace.

The reason why jungle didn't blow up is because it's an underground ting!!!! Only true junglist soldiers know about jungle... I got over 1000 jungle sets and mixes, ragga all sorts. Yeah, man. This music is just between the music and the listener. Everyone have their own taste and opinions. All these kids don't know what music is. They think Bieber and Dubstep is the shit but only if they knew but that's what makes this much more better because we already know. I like to blast these tunes so loud and I bet people love it even if it is too loud. Jungle is just a next level of music and amazing. @Anekix I'm not at all saying that techno is the same as jungle. But for someone who doesn't listen to either, they have an idea of what techno is. It's like not knowing the difference between opera or a quintet, it's easier to just say 'classical' because people have a vague idea of what classical is when they might not have an idea of the difference between a quintet and an opera. If someone listens to electronic music, I go into detail with them. The average person I know doesn't know jungle.
