That, as well as the full source code and assets for any game that is effectively/realistically no longer legally playable. Dino Crisis, unless it's available somewhere I'm not aware of, was last playable on PS3. Which is no longer produced. I don't know how it would work exactly, but my pie in the sky ideal would be something like copyright for video games expiring 10 years after it is no longer actively produced and sold by its publisher, and that patent can only be renewed by re-releasing it. If you're not going to use the property, you should lose it.

Take that ten years, carve it down to one year after cessation of manufacture/1st-party availability of sale. Between abuse of ancient software and copyright law, these companies have been twisting the knife on loopholes to abuse consumers into purchases of products they will never have any "legal" right to keeping AND somehow not being owed a refund when their product is altered, stripped of feature/function, or flat-out killed. Look up a MMO game named Hazard Ops, it came out 15 years ago in China then Europe slowly around the world, it's basically a washed down clone of the same with maybe 1% of the content. Capcom is really decades behind with their products AGAIN not only that but they don't even live up to those games with that 1%.

I'd love to have a modern take on the Dino Crisis franchise, and a fresh update of Parasite Eve to go along with it.

Important catch: We either get just Updated PE 1 & 2 OR if they try to go for part 3 again, a Remake is definitely needed compared to what was released.

Crichton's Jurassic Park and The Lost World are both really fascinating books. The impact they had on the public's interest in genetics can't be overstated.

Can you imagine if they made a big budget Dino Crisis movie? It would be like Predator with dinosaurs. That’d be dope as fuck.

I remember renting both Dino Crisis 1&2, and playing it on a friend's PlayStation. Intense, wild, brutal, and exciting. Regina is unforgettable. Sigh this series needs to return, and Regina's journey deserves closure Exoprimal 🤦 Capcom. Seriously why?

Any ads from Suzi is a must not to skip at all. Gotta love her videos. ^^

I’m really hoping Capcom isn’t like using exoprimal to determine whether to make another dinocrisis or not

Jurassic Park is my all time favorite book. Also a huge Capcom fan, and DC fan. Your the best. Good to see someone from my generation showing it off. Your the best!

It absolutely is. It was one of the few game I owned during the PSOne era and I played it many times. Regina (and Dylan) deserve another shot! I remember using the Solid Cannon to shoot and run through the blue ball of energy so Dinosaurs would take damage if they chased me

Majesty's an unusual name; she's gotta be a nod to Regina. Someone upstairs must've been excited for guns, dinos, and time travel, but wouldn't/couldn't give the green light for a true Dino Crisis title.

Your video on the first Dino Crisis is how I discovered your channel. Glad to see you talk about the second one, too. Seems like there's never enough games with (in my best Mr. DNA voice) dinosaurs. Love the cosplays you do in your videos as well.

I'm so happy to see someone else talking about this game, this game is one of the reasons I fell in love with games, and one of my main inspirations nowadays as a concept artist!!!

28:00 let me tell you something that most likely no one knows about. Where I used to live, we could buy fake CDs of ps1 and ps2 games. They were very popular all over the world, that's why crapcom thinks they sold less numbers than the new games they produce, because people can't make fake copies of the games anymore now.

DC3 is right where it belongs in terms of rating but its a shame 1 & 2 are basically forgotten by everyone not versed in classic survival horror.

Thanks for highlighting Dino Crisis 2 Suzie! As my favorite videogame ever old or new, its a damn shame there wasn't a proper conclusion to this series. As much as I want a remaster or proper sequel, I dont trust many of the big AAA companies to develop a Dino Crisis game. Microsotransactions, battle passes, loot boxes, and half baked releases are stuff that shouldnt belong in this franchise. If its not a AAA developer, I'll be more optimistic about the idea. There was so much to love about the game. My favorite moment of the game was seeing the Giganotosaurus stomp the T-Rex. Tyrannosaurus has always been the quintessal dinosaur villain besides raptors because of its size and ferocity so to see a much larger predator kill it just blew my mind. The different roar before the start of the game kinda alludes to the fact that theres something out there that may be more terrifying than a T-Rex. Its one of the few games where I wanted to collect all the files to learn more about whats going on and the dinosaurs.

26:22 "I hope it's a follow up to this ending, and not a remake or something. I just *need* a resolution to this." I know this video is about Dino Crisis 2, but you just summed up my thoughts on Golden Sun Dark Dawn perfectly.

Its strange how closely Dino Crisis and Parasite Eve mirror each other. A survival horror based original game, followed up with a more action based sequel and a disappointing 3rd game with both of them being forgotten by their developers. It's sad to see because both definitely deserve the remake/remaster treatment

3:06 It's quite ironic how that's not the first time ive heard or read quotes from a Japanese Game Dev. on how they've regretted making their game as difficult as the final project turned out. One such example is Masanobu Endo, Designer of the Infamously Difficult Namco game "Tower of Druaga" Also Allegedly, the Dev. Team of Final Fantasy 3 also regret making the game's final dungeon too long, tedious & difficult in the final product

I was obsessed with dinosaurs when i was young, jurassic park on genesis and some other games that came after were my childhood, dino crises changed everything it was so realistic and scary, it was like i've never seen dinosaur that vicious before. Still to this day i love dinosaurs and would love survival horror games based on them. Bur we dont got enough of them
