I’m actually so annoyed and shocked that Dino crisis still hasn’t come back. I remember playing the first one a day it came out as a kid and I achieved absolutely everything possible in it. The first one was so special. That said I really got into Dino crisis 2 eventually as well. It’s very moreish. Have you done a video on DC2?

It is CRAZY Dino Crisis has been left in the cold for so long by Capcom. They could repurpose so many models, make some new dino ones, retain RE2 Remake or RE4 Remake gameplay, and bam, instant money.

A Dino Crisis remake with Re 2 Remake's gameplay and feel is an instant "take my money" moment. DC2 is one for the RE4 Remake gameplay imo.

They could have made a reboot of the game too if they want to by using the dinosaur models in Monstee Hunter World. Usin RE engine and RE2 gameplay will make it more good

They teased/promised a remake... and we ended up getting Exoprimal instead. Live Service garbage. I honestly have no hope for a remake since they did that to the fans. Now, could it be they were waiting for an anniversary? Maybe. But why not mention/tease that instead of doing what they did: Teasing a remake, turning around to release a Live Service game that resembles Dino Crisis more than it should? They mishandled it and I have no faith they'll make anything good out of it. Exoprimal was meh at best.

​​@@Cyberpit2000 i am playing RE4 after a long life of experience in Dino Crisis 2 and i can see some similarities with DC2 in the RE4 map menu style and menu sounds. They are almost the same sounds but sped up or changed a bit. The map style is so similar too,i was really impressed. Maybe they took inspiration from DC2

Great video! You missed one rare animation event. After the pteranodon introduction sequence and the red, green, and blue pipe lowering puzzle, the large elevator will be activated and ready for use. Choose not to use it yet and exit the door from where you first entered the area and instead of typical text blocking your way, it will permit Regina to go through only to have her witness a landslide collapse, forcing her to go back to the previous area and take the elevator now.

YES! Been waiting for this one for a while now and you totally delivered! So cool to see Ink Ribbon taking part here. IMO Dino Crisis was waaaay ahead of its time. You had tranq shots, a bleeding mechanic and very grounded and challenging puzzles which all made sense in the context of the game. Hope we can get a remake before scientists actually find a way to bring dinosaurs back. Once again, great job on the video!

Bro, I was sitting behind my cousin and an older brother hiding every time there was an enemy encounter. The first T-Rex apperance made me run from the room and ask both of them to tell me when it's over, lol. I'm 32 right now and those memories are great. It also shaped my taste for this type of games, making me play Resident Evil series, Alone in the Dark, Silent Hill, the stories I watched unfold before my eyes, the memories of playing with family and friends, I wouldn't exchange it for anything in this world. You should count yourself lucky to stumble upon such great productions, they made your memories. We're not that old ffs :). Take care and keep on rockin' bro, much health and prosperity for you.

I was obsessed with this game back in 2005 I remember finishing a playtru and immediately starting a new one, I did that for like 3 months in a row so I was aware of most of the tips from the strategy guide if not all Capcom please... remake this game, it will do well Resident Evil but with Dinosaurs is such an amazing idea.

Just finished your vid. Congrats on 11K subs. Still looking forward to that collaboration vid of Code Veronica you mentioned a while back. As for this game, Resident Evil has become the face of survival horror so much, that even Capcom's own IPs like Dino Crisis and Dino Crisis 2 struggle to have a significant impact. IMO, I REALLY want an ACCESSIBLE, Dino Crisis remake before any more Resident Evil games or remakes.

A prime example of these features is The Last Of Us part II. Lord knows that at least the RE games could do with some "accessibility". @@raccooncitycinema Oh thanks. I had no idea beep ball was this much fun. They even have it in Canada I heard. As for what RE could do to make it more accessible, well, take lessons from TLOU 2's accessibility (not the story, the story is garbage in TLOU2) and incorporate things like auto aim, navigation markers that show you where to go, a Skip Puzzle option, sound cues when interactable objects or areas are near, etc. These are also there in GOW Ragnarok, but TLOU2 one's better. My next gaming project will be a character analysis of Raiden from Mortal Kombat, and how an obsession corrupts a god. I do have one more Claire vid after that planned, as I found five more CVX references. I'll also talk about Claire's trauma from a psychological view point (Classical conditioning, conditioned Trauma Response, etc). Did you finish my CVX vs DSC video yet?

You know what I really want to see more than the DC remake? a collection of classic RE/DC series from the PS1~Dreamcast era. Capcom is currently focusing on remakes that doesn't realize the original games still holds its value. well, at least I will be buying them when they do.

Release the HD remasters and build hype, now they've announced a new game, and a tv series after the remasters got such a good reception. I can not believe that Capcom annoyingly released Dino Criss 1 on the PS PLUS only if you UPGRADE TO the Premium service. There is so much potential for this game to expand. But Capcom is all ham on R.E. and I get it. Who doesn't like resident evil? But please give R.E. a break for a year and remake this franchise it needs a reboot and we as fans deserve to get a reboot. Hope it happens even in the near future. I hope that one day Capcom listens to to the Dino Crisis fan base.
