Just because the mirrors on the handle bars on a full faired motorcycle looks an afterthought and very unusual...it's lacks sporty appeal..also if the mirrors are on the fairing and wide enough, riders get great visibility of what's behind. Band karni hai yaa nhi that depends upon rider..but really it looks very unusual

Finally Dino's review on this bike! Have been waiting for this moment for a longtime. While the so called major auto mags have been badmouthing this product for a longtime through untenable comparisons with the Pulsar 200s etc., you have produced a genuine review. Indeed this bike cannot be compared to the breed of high revving sporty 200s we have nowadays. But what the Xtreme 200 does really well is pose a value proposition to potential Gixxer SF buyers. I am a Gixxer SF rider and have been using it for quite some time now. This bike, the 200s definitely has more initial and mid range grant. When you factor in the premium price that the Gixxer SF now commands, this bike seems to be a better choice. People make all sorts of frivolous comments. Some foolishly compare this product with the much much more expensive sporty 200 bikes, but for an average middleclass Indian the price of a bike can either make or break a deal. I own an SF as well. Initially all was well and good. Then I realised that the seat comfort of the SF is really poor. It is very cramped. And this seat issue I've noticed (and seen in reviews) is a common problem in Suzuki bikes. The new ones have the split seats, so more room for the rider, but the arch in the seat is a problem. I test rode the XPulse 200 and 200T, I genuinely loved those bikes, Except for the slight vibrations in the handlebar. Anyways, these are really good bikes and must be considered. I'm sad to see that very few are there on the road.

The Extreme 200s is much better than what people think, it definitely feels more powerful than 150cc bikes the only difference is that compared to other 200cc bikes it's tuned for more linear acceleration and not fast one which gives advantage of better fuel economy and it suits those riders who ride more gently rather than performance based. And the value for money is great with 5 year warranty !!

@@deepak672-q7g If you're talking about the mileage, then you're right... 200cc motor cycles won't have the mileage of their 160cc counterparts... but as he mentions in the video, the main advantage would be the really smooth engine and power delivery, compared to the somewhat unsettling ride quality of a 160cc bike. You won't have to strain the engine to extract its power as in the case of a 200cc motorcycle....

Might be possible that Hero bikes don't have heating issue in the starting phase, but as the engine aged heating issue is there...no matter if you ignore it, but then someday it'll show you it's impact in the mid way. So I personally welcome if Hero starts to include Engine cooling mechanisms in there bikes. If this was the case, then xpulse is in no sense lags to Himalayan in serving the purpose. CBZ is in no sense less than other segment leaders. But this thing personally disappoints me a lot😒😒

Issue with Sudden breaks, its back tyre is skidding so be careful while applying breaks at 60-70km/h speed. Front tyre breaking system is fine but if u apply sudden breaks, back tyre is moving towards left side which makes u to fall aside. So be careful on highways especially during rainy season.

There are lot of areas of improvement..... 1)There is no cooling system,neither liquid cooling nor oil cooling.Hence,long distances are harsh on engine. 2)There is no 6th gear 3)Struggling a lot even at normal speeds of 90+ km/hr,4 valves can be an economic alternative to the issue. 4)A little more power is a must,learn from Bajaj NS200

Wish Hero could have launched the Xtreme 200S simultaneously or ahead of the 200R. This bike is just about 7 - 8K more than the 200R so it makes no sense to equip the 200R with a semi-digital instrument console and a halogen headlight which is also AC electricals. They could have at least provided an option for the 200R owners to upgrade to the 200R with the new instrument console and led headlight as an upgrade option just like what TVS did with the RR310. Moreover the entire 200S is based on the 200R so there shouldn't be too much of a problem with regards to mechanics or ride dynamics. Had this been done, then Hero could have had retained more loyalists and make the end user feel that they don't forget about them once the product is sold.

Hi Dino........... I been riding scooter in Mumbai for past 6 years. My daily ride is 25 kms. Daily combination of nukkad-gully, main road, flyover, busy business and industrial zone with 2.5 feet give-way in chocblock traffic (where scooter is excellent, most bikes not so much) to suddenly open roads connected to highway where normal speed above 70 kmph with some dangerously bad stretches at that speeds (where bikes are excellent, life threatening for scooters). Earlier my route was usually gully and city main roads where scooters are good. Now the above condition is there. I saw these Hero bikes and became very interested in it for some reasons. 1. 200 cc engine means much less effort than 160 cc engine, so less wear and tear for the same price. 2. Hero Brand is Indian and having large spread. 3. Sitting posture of 200 T, which is more ruggedly built than other bike which are largely commuters, seems almost effortless and non committal. 4. 200s looks very unique though I realize now it is just 200r in designer fairing,. 5. I think I should buy a new bike. So I want to know, which out of Xtreme 200S and Xpulse 200T would be better for me. Waiting for your reply as you have driven both these bikes.

Hero should understand that top speed is also very important,even if people are buying for day to day use.Pulsar neon 150 is able to achieve 115-120. In the era of apache,pulsar,ktm 130km/h is average top speed. I think top speed was the major reason behind the failure of ZMR (against 220) Hunk(105-110 km/hr) against Pulsar (120-125) Yes,youngesters are choosing bikes above 1 lakh for highway run also and then top speed really matters. Even i will go for Pulsar 220 (1,30,000 on road) or Pulsar 180F (1,17,000 on road) over Xtreme (1,20,000 on road )

Hello sir. Thanks for the superb video. But I have a confusion and a question also. I watched other review of the bike and all most every review I saw they were complaining about its topend power and some were pointing vibration issues also but yours seems quite positive in every aspect and one thing I wonder is when yamaha introduced a comparatively under powered 250cc bike everyone was claiming that yamaha built that engine to last longer so its Ok. So it is possible that xtreme 200 engine can last for more mileage or that was just foolish assumptions for yamaha engine also. Can I get some clarification please.
