to everyone who say the crowd were boring - that's Glastonbury crowds for you these days, they don't really expect rock n roll sonic onslaughts - they were probably stunned! plus its a 24 hour 4 day festival so people tend to use their energy at night.. I was near/at the front and although it wasnt full-on it was a fluffy mosh pit Gotta say though that as a 40 year old it was weird seeing the largely young crowd in the same type of clothes we wore when watching them in 1990!

Unlike most bands that use the PA and play at a reasonable volume on stage, Dinsaur Jr. plays at full volume making the initial two to three songs a bit rough as the sound guy adjusts the sounds with the crowd in place.
@TinoSchulz1990
@TinoSchulz1990 2 жыл бұрын
@@ryanjohnson985 Remember that most of the times live-recordings are not mixed by the FOH-engineer but rather in a truck nearby those festivals. Inputs get split on stage for FOH, Monitor-engineer and broadcast-trucks. But Dinosaur JR is a very complicated band to mix.

LMAO the mix in this video matches exactly how they sound in real life. I went to my first Dino concert about a month ago and mistakenly thought it was an awesome idea to stand directly in front of Lou's rig. I heard 90% bass, 9.99% guitar and .01% vocals and drums. I will say though, I never appreciated Lou's playing as much as I did after that experience. The dude is a monster performer,. They all are. 😂🫠
