Dinosaur Planet Soundtrack- Alpha's Egg Suite

This is by far the most tracks in a single suite, yet it is not the longest of the four suites. That one is reserved for tomorrow's upload: Little Das' Hunt Suite.
Anyway, this suite has a sense of something giant and almost mystical, perfectly representing the mighty sauropods and the giant carnivores in this episode. It kinda has a medieval vibe to it in some cases, but still retain the primeval vibe of the series. In other words, lots of pan flutes.
There are some lighthearted tracks like "Dragonfly's Family" and there a some tragic tracks like "Nesting Grounds". Personally, my favorite tracks are the theme (as always of course), "Prehistoric Patagonia", and "The Destiny of Alpha's Egg".
The music was composed by Dean Grinsfelder and Robert Etoll.
Fun fact: Apparently, Carcharodontosaurs did existup to the Late Cretaceous Period. They were more common in the Early Cretaceous though, due to the advent of the Abelisaurs.

I play this game called The Isle. It’s basically a survival game where you play as a dinosaur. You start off as a hatchling and grow to be an adult. The stats of each dinosaur force you to play more or less how that animal would’ve lived in real life. It’s pretty cool! Anyway whenever I’m a hatchling trying to find shelter or if once I’m an adult I’m hunting something comparable to my own strength, 0:00-1:10 constantly plays in my head. Even when I listen to it now I can imagine the land crocodiles and little feathered alverasours coming out of the forest to devour the hatchling saltasaurs This scene was so powerful for me as a kid that it’s still stuck in my head 10 years later! I play giganotosaurus and ceratosaurs mostly btw.

I love this theme and this scene sooooo much and I really like the way carcharodontosaurus is portrayed in this documentary even though in order for it to be completely accurate it really should’ve been giganotosaurus.

@@Nigel_BC In my head, it's the reality of how their world was. These hulking monsters could storm out of the forest and snag a meal whenever they pleased, and there was pretty much nothing big enough or bad enough to stop them. Purely terrifying.
