I passed this every time I went to Disney as a kid and I remembered how badly I wanted to go to it. I just went after driving back home from St. Augustine a few years ago. My inner child was excited, but was instantly disappointed.

Doesn't look like this place is very popular since they were the ONLY one's there. Beth looks like a lot of fun to do this stuff with. She has an all-around fun personality :)

Let people know it's no abandoned. Back in the day when grocery stores had photo labs I used to run the one in plant city in the old Winn Dixie that closed. I used to process the photos for the Svensons who own dinosaur world. Very nice people.

No it is not abandoned and that is the typical day at dinosaur world. This place is about 3 miles from my house, it is owned by some uber rich guy from another country. This used to be Alligator World and it was full of gators years ago. I am not sure how this place stays in business other than the owner has a ton of money. It was used for a haunted house set up a few years ago by the local volunteer fire dept. It made a really cool haunted house.
@aMAXproduction11 жыл бұрын

Serious question, how is this place open? It looks nice (enough) but this is a very basic roadside attraction. Are there only a few employees working? I would think they do well from school field trips but I don't see an average family or Floridian coming here. Not a criticism, I've always wanted to go (I'm a Floridian) but always seems so out of the way.

Ahh.... Ok so I have a super faint memory of a place like that from when I was much much younger. I lived in Utah at the time but I was born in Florida. I constantly get things from those two places mixed up and it is bugging me. When you guys where there was there a trail called the "Trick path" or something of similar fashion where it looks like two paths then just turns out to be a loop, or when you saw the animatronics was there one with what I remember to be a Tyrannosaurus Rex and... Some other dinosaur fighting. (Or now that I think of it, it kinda looks like they are attempting to start a fight. We went there for a church caroling thing and after it was finished I sat for maybe an hour just staring at those things.) Or one of the last things I can really get myself to remember was a giant T-rex slide in one of the playgrounds. It would be awesome if you could get back to me on this! It is just really bugging me how I can't remember where this was!

Why is this placed abandoned
@jason3fc11 жыл бұрын
Its not abandoned, but there are hardly ever any people there. I have no idea how it stays open. There are a few places in the park for birthdays and playgrounds, and thats usually where the people are.

I pass by one of these in Cave City KY, and I keep on going. I like dinosaurs and all, but this seems a bit cheezy to me.
