You are right, we are not aware of many Gryposaurus dinosaur models out there. Thanks for your comment.

It is all a matter of personal taste. However, Schleich have recently moved towards creating models which have greater play value perhaps, whilst Safari Ltd have continued to try to replicate knowledge about dinosaurs from vertebrate palaeontology. The Gryposaurus is a particularly fine example of this, thanks for your input, much appreciated.

Great review Mike. Its one of my favourite models and am pleased that you reviewed it. Can't wait till the next one. Also, I found some merchandise from Walking with Dinosaurs 3D yesterday so please check it out when you can.

I just picked this up. Amazing model! Also, this is kinda late but you should do a review on the CollectA T rex with prey.

Thanks for your input, glad you like the Gryposaurus. Appreciate your request for the video review of the Collecta T. rex with prey, we have a lot of requests coming in like this and we do try to post up videos when we can. For the moment, however, we have some comments on the T. rex with prey model from the designer posted up on our blog site (article from 19th November 2011), you might want to take a look as the designer explains the thinking behind this particular figure. Hope this helps (address of our blog in the video).

Is this a G. Notabillis or G. Monumentensis

Safari Ltd did not, as far as we know, specify down to individual species level. However, for the fact sheet that accompanies our sales of this model, we based our research on Gryposaurus notabilis. Please note, the species or trivial name is never written with a capital letter. Ideally, such terms should be in italics but these days on social media italics is often not available. We have not found how to use it in these comment boxes, that's for sure. Hope this helps.
