My only complaint is this is not starter survival friendly... I've never died so much in Minecraft ever. I'd recommend turning off the natural spawn until you're geared up then stage an "outbreak" if you want the natural spawn.

I wish they gave us a way to find DNA without wild dinos. So we can create our own Jurassic Park without the world being filled with dinos.

@@lonelybot9824 Fair enough. I’ve gotten used to running around exploring and gathering resources. For some reason, I wasn’t expecting them to hit as hard as they do…except for the big boys like T-Rex.

I would love a dinosaur addon where they only spawn if you do it yourself, by exploring and getting dna, mixing it with others vanilla mobs to get an egg and hatch it. I'm not a big fan of these addons that the dinosaurs just keep spawning like crazy, it makes some hard to play it on survival mode

You can turn off Natural Dinosaur Spawning in this Add-On and use Archeology to create them.

ABILITY TO DISABLE NATURAL SPAWNING??? :0 Insta buy. What I hate the most with the dino addons is how they naturally spawn I ain’t making a prehistoric world for them to just be wondering around It fits way better if I have to revive them from extinction

I think they can a lot more improve on ai because when rapters hunt they do have some nice ai but its the same and you can easily build up so some dinosaurs could like stalk the player and attack at some point rapters could jump up to get to players up high and open doors climb ladders and more, other wise I like this addon a lot and its pretty good.

also some dinosaurs like the pyrorapter are not accurate because the pyrorapter would most likely attack a player on sight but in the addon its a neutral mob.

also can they fix some bugs where the mosasaurus gets stuck in blocks while out of chunks and sometimes just disappears, I'm making Jurassic world with this addon and the mosasaurus just gets stuck. Edit some other bugs like when a pteradon picks you up it will fly through blocks like 3 blocks of glass.

Since it’s more likely to get seen here and not on an almost year old video, the SpongeBob method for getting shaders has been patched and doesn’t work intact it will purge pre existing mod files downloaded that way if you re-install

(I haven’t downloaded this mod by the way just so you know) I think the backpacks are pretty useful, but I hate it that they are too similar to the bundle like there’s basically no difference. There’s only two differences it’s that you can wear it which it is pretty unuseful if you can just wear it it just allows you to do something with it. It basically gives no purpose ( the only thing that makes this better is that you can just put something in the backpack that makes the bundle completely full)

My one problem with this update is: The new dinosaurs don't feel as high quality as the others. The models are GREAT but they share animations and their colors cant be changed. Also that Kentro and Amarga are...... Off.......

I wonder if you disable natural spawning would you be able to get DNA from other methods? I wish they gave us a way to find DNA without wild dinos. So we can create our own Jurassic Park without the world being filled with dinos.

Yes if you disable natural dinosaur spawning, you can still get Gritty DNA, Dinosaur Egg, Amber, Leather etc from Suspicious Blocks. In the upcoming 2.1, we're expanding it to use Amber too. Stay tuned!
