I've visited this area of Utah on many occasions and one of the sights is this old abandoned cement truck near the town of Caineville Utah, about 18 miles east of Hanksville Utah and a bit east of the western boundary of the Capitol Reef National Park. This truck has been here since at least the early 2000's and when I looked at the older images from Google Earth I can see it here in the early 2000's but the previous image in about 1994 doesn't show it so my guess is it probably found its way here in the late 90's.
A bit further east in the town of Hanksville Utah is an artsy place with home made dinosaurs made form junk. That's not entirely new and the whole junk into dinosaur thing has been around for quite a while but they includes some more human looking 'beasts' and other critters as well. Lots of these small towns have artists move in and set up shop.
This area is near some pretty spectacular places in southern Utah. To the west is Capitol Reef National Park and Bryce Canyon National Park, to the north is Goblin Valley State Park and the San Rafael Swell, to the Northeast is Moab with Arches and Canyonlands National Parks, and to the southeast you cross the Colorado River at the eastern end of Glen Canyon National Recreation Area. Beyond that is Mexican Hat with the Moki Dugway and Valley of the Gods. South of that is Monument Valley.

Looks interesting. Didn't see this when I stopped for the night.

The artsy place is just about 1/4 mile west of the intersection of UT-24 and UT-95 and on the north side of the road. The derelict cement truck is about 18 miles further west and also on the north side of the road.

What was your original White Balance or did you just have the camera on Auto? Your comment about the reder colour of the day as sunset came on isn't there...

I use a fixed white balance that is usually around 5500-5900. If the color looks off in post I'll correct it there. With AWB the camera is constantly changing things making it more difficult in post. The first segment with the truck was a little before 6PM or about 1.6 hours before sunset. The second segment at the art/junk place was after 6:30PM -- so, closer to sunset. I didn't try to force the second segment to be less red because that's more-or-less how it looked.

Is it the 12-60 lumix lens? Did you try other gimballs? Can you recommend this one?

Yes, that is the kit lens that came with the G85 -- it's light enough and balanced acceptably to work with the gimbal. I have not tested other gimbals and in this price range the Zhiyun Crane is probably the most popular though I think they all pretty much use the same IMU technology. The Evo Rage gimbal I use is acceptable but I wouldn't call it great. As with all 3-axis gimbals that lack any compensation for up/down movements you either have to develop "the walk" to keep it stable in the 4th axis or have some form of mechanical 4th axis to dampen out the up/down movements. I don't use it enough to have the walk down but having the other three axis covered fairly well with the gimbal is an improvement. The gimbal on my drone does an amazing job but it's not being moved around by a person...

Raptorman0909 do you also use image stabilisation at the same time?
@Raptorman0909

Yes, I didn't think to turn it off but then again I don't think it much mattered. I should try it both ways to see if there's a difference though I suspect the difference, if any, will be minor.

@@Raptorman0909 Thought I would let you know that I took a visit out to that area and found and photographed the abandoned cement truck. They painted over the message about Hillary. Thanks for the tip. ;-)

Do you know the year of that Cement truck and what Manufacture is it from??
@Raptorman0909

No, but if you look at Google Earth you can see that it was there in September of 2004 but the previous image, from September of 1993, it was not there. I have no idea on the make/model/year of the truck.
