They have a membrane in their eye sockets called a nictitating membrane. Every so often, it flaps over the snake’s eyes to keep them hydrated

Analyzing fight: The titanoboa tries to attack the Rex, hitting it's target on the tail base. It then slithers into the bushes and the tyrannosaur follows, but the snake trips the Rex 'accidentally' which causes it to fall. When the Rex tries getting up, the snake bites it on the lower jaw, the Rex getting up fully, but the titanoboa is beginning to wrap around the tyrant lizard king. However, the Rex spots a tree trunk with a sharp edge, running over to jab it into the snake. The king of dinosaurs stomps on the constrictor, trying to now bite its face off. The T-Rex misses every bite, the snake taking it's turn to bite, but as it bites, the tyrannosaurus throws it off. The snake tries slithering away, but the dinosaur tramples all over it. Then it stomps on the snake's neck and starts biting onto its back, tearing it right off. This lead to the Tyrannosaurus Rex winning in the end.

Actually, in a real fight the Titanoboa probably won, because t-rex was slower then a human (T-rex wasnt build for speed, but power) this means he wouldnt have been able to reach the dead tree in time It was a good and fun animation though, and then this doesn't really matter

Fun fact: A snake could survive without a head for a couple minutes or hours since it doesn’t need as much oxygen and fuel for its brain like a mammal and the titanoboa is technically a snake so its possible it would have survived. (But the rex would prob just stomp on its head again)
