BRIGHT SIDE

3 жыл бұрын

There're so many facts in the world we assume to be common knowledge without even checking. However, they often turn out to be misconceptions. Bright Side has recalled and destroyed 30 myths about the world. One of them: dinosaurs actually looked nothing like they're portrayed in the movies, but rather like... turkeys. Watch this video to learn about how some of the most well-known “facts” are false.

Fossil imprints have shown that _adult_ Tyrannosaurus Rex had _scaley skin._ So this tells us that if they did have feathers, they most likely had them as infants newly hatched and would eventually shed them as they grew, like Penguins.
@Thebeetlemangr
@Thebeetlemangr Жыл бұрын
First, penguins have feathere their entire lives so what you said is simply false Second, scaley skin doesnt rule out the possibility of feathers, syre they were most likely not fully formed modern bird feathers but think more like how elephants still have hairs even though they dont have a furry covering

Salt does not make water boil faster, it stores heat so that when pasta is added it does not drop the water's temperature as much, in turn allowing the pasta to be cooked faster.

That salt in water thing is right. When salt is added, some surface area is also occupied by ions which was previously occupied solely by water molecules. So less vapours escape and hence create low vapour pressure as compared to pure water. And as you know, boiling point comes when external pressure is equal to vapour pressure. It will come up early in case of pure water. We have to increase the temperature for salt + water solution in order to form more vapours and achieve boiling point for solution.

Yes some dinos have feathers but why would a Spinosaurus need feathers or the charcharodontosaurus they both live in Africa were it is hot and we don’t know if T-Rex reall had feathers say that the Rex had feathers because an other specias of the tyranosaurieds or something (yes not best English) we don’t know what they look the dinosaurs have still many secrets.
