That salt in water thing is right. When salt is added, some surface area is also occupied by ions which was previously occupied solely by water molecules. So less vapours escape and hence create low vapour pressure as compared to pure water. And as you know, boiling point comes when external pressure is equal to vapour pressure. It will come up early in case of pure water. We have to increase the temperature for salt + water solution in order to form more vapours and achieve boiling point for solution.

Its only recently that it was acceted that the T. rex actually didnt have feathers. It was a very heated debate for a long time 10 years ago. Even that Saurian game's developer had to accept it after years of them arguing with people who didnt support the feathered T. rex reconstruction. Now saying the T. rex was covered in feathers is outdated. Its because people tend to overestimate how much mesizoic dinosaurs have in common with modern birds, people just assert that all of them had to have identical traits prior to the KT extinction. When people wanted to emphasize some dinosaurs having protofeathers some people just went to argue all of them must have had them.
