I really didn't like that Ace and Skya episode with the acid baths. Not even because of Ace telling D-Structs the others were in the worst place to fight their enemy in (tho that was very very very stupid), but just their attitude. Sure, the guys were really distracted in wanting to crack that big ball of scrap open, but it made the others feel out of character. Like, some of the guys I can imagine being obsessed with it, but all of them? It felt forced.

I agree. This one was written by Mimi Hess, and it seems, for some reason, the episodes she writes are a little out of character. I don't think Mimi knows the characters as well as some of the other writers.
