He was marvelous speaker, storyteller, had a beautiful voice combined with his posture to use his voice like in a presentation of a theater! His voice had sound and appearance! You can feel it!

That’s pagan. There is only one intercessor between man and God and that is Christ Jesus! Read your Bible!

Mediator, not intercessor. Don't you pray for others when they ask you? Don't you ask others to pray for you? That's not pagan, that's intercession, and it is commanded in the Bible (James 5:16). The saints in Heaven are the great cloud of witnesses (Heb 12:1), and theirs and our prayers are brought before the Throne of God by the Angels (Rev 5:8).

Yes mediator, you are right, I mixed up the words in my head. But my point was, it’s wrong to pray to a *dead* person or ask them to intercede for you. If a saint is living then absolutely, the scriptures are plain about that, no denial. I just don’t agree with asking dead saints to intercede... and Bishop Sheen has long passed away.

Yes their spirits are living and in heaven if they are truly a saint, but if you take the time to read 1st Samuel 28 - it will show you that Saul had to go to a medium in order to communicate with a dead saint (Samuel). If it was something righteous he wouldn’t have needed to go to a medium, he could have gone to a prophet/man of God/prayed himself. The practices of mediums are sinful- according to scripture - and one of their practices is to commune with the physically dead. (Even dead saints.) If you type “mediums” or “necromancer” into a Bible app, it will bring up many scriptures concerning it being wrong. Also, nowhere in the Bible is it ever recorded that one of the believers was praying to a saint. They only ever prayed to God. And if they asked someone to pray for them, they were physically alive. I’m not saying that all people who pray to the dead are mediums - I realize this is a wide practice in Catholicism and I believe it’s done sincerely, not intending to do wrong, but I just feel like I should say something to show what I believe to be the error of a certain practice. This is of course, totally up to the individual to decide on.

You must not be Catholic . All Saints have a past and all sinners have a future if they decide to pick up their cross. Their is an enormous difference between a Saint and the laity... But please enlighten us.

@@artgarcia110 Jesus prayed in gospel of John chapter 17, that they all be one, in other word's no distinction between them, apostle Paul said same, in christ their is neither jew or gentile bond or free, epistle of galatians chapter 3v 28. God is no respector of persons.
