84. Bloody amazing. Wish I'd got to the Melbourne concert. Those that did are so lucky. Think about the guts it would take to do that. At that age. And you all supported her beautifully. ❤

Hey! I was there! A sell out. Dionne Warwick was amazing for 84. This was her final song I believe, she began with Walk On By. About 13 songs in all. Wonderful night at Hamer Hall!

@weskitten yes you're right :) It was an amazing night and I'm glad to have witnessed her - one of my fave singers of all time. Also, the closest I can say to ever witnessing my fave singer of all time (late Whitney), being her elder cousin. I saw Gladys in 2020 before the lockdowns, now waiting for Patti to come and I can say I've seen all the "Sisters In Love" 😊

@@Sam0anKnight07 And I'll also say, I had a seat right up the back directly facing the stage. It was better than being on the balcony which can be scary. $119 ticket, with small binoculars. I was very pleased. Dionne Warwick did not sing Heartbreaker, the woman sitting next to me observed. However, she did sing 99 Miles From LA and reminisced about Johnny Mathis, which was one of the highlights of the night. Her version of Alfie was also top notch! Perfect. In Oct 1999, she sang Col Porter's Night and Day, which was a highlight of that particular evening, apt as Frank Sinatra had died the previous year. Glad you also enjoyed the concert!
