People say that the original Apple cases are way too expensive. But I personally think they are worth every penny. 1.) The case is very thin and offers almost unbeatable protection for its (thin) thickness. 2.) The cut-outs are perfectly precise, as their is the position - they are only as large as necessary (minimizes dirt and dust getting into the case). 3.) The microfiber lining protects the phone perfectly from scratches. 4.) The edge around the camera and the display offer good protection for those and the phone itself is maximally covered. 5.) All materials are extremely high quality, they feel great in hand. -For me, no other case offers all these properties combined. Expensive yes, but for me it's worth the money. My last case lasted 5 years.

Minor correction: It's debossed, not of embossed. Debossed is indented. While embossed would have the Apple logo raised up from the surface.

i purchased recently iphone 13 Pro leather case, and first was defective case (power button not press due to hard button of leather case), got replaced, and believe me second time also, still the problem persist, hence apple care agreed to replace again and send me third time leather case. I am so happy with silicon case for iphone 13 pro, no problem using and is great expereince.

actually I’ve found my ESR MagSafe case is stronger than my official leather case. I use the ESR with my MagSafe pop socket (because it leaves a imprint in the leather case) and I literally struggle to pull it off. The magnet is so strong in the ESR case it pulls off off my car mount every time I remove it lol

Great video; I chose the abyss blue silicone case to go with my blue iPhone 13 and it looks really good with the subtle contrast between the colors and also feels great in hands; similar color was not available in leather side and also I don’t like the long term patina effect on the latter.

If I might add my 2cents, I have had the leather case for about a year with just normal wear and tear I’ve notice significant degrading especially around the edges of my leather apple on the top and bottom and on the back. I feel it’s impossible to give and honest opinion of the quality of theses cases within the minimum time frame most of the reviews are basing their opinions on. Let me know in 6 mts to year what hold up better. Because if I spend $50-$60 on a case it better last longer than 6 months. Thank you just the same but check back in 6 mts on the leather. I’m going silicone!

Apple has a 1 year warranty on both cases so technically your paying $50-$60 for 2 cases that’s a good deal I abused my leather 13 pro case and after 7 months took it into a Apple Store and they gave me a new one after pulling my receipt up with my email to prove I bought it from them.

I found an Apple Leather case from Best Buy which was ten dollars cheaper. It was the same price as the silicone so I got the leather instead in Midnight. I loved my iPhone 6S red leather case. Wish Apple would come out with a red leather again.

I wait until my next trip home to see family & friends in the far east to make my new apple purchases, either at the airports or in the big apple stores if I time it right I can get extra ordinary price savings as the consumption tax is lower plus a favourable exchange rate day meant that I saved £105 on the iphone 13 mini & £125 on the ipad mini by purchasing there rather than in europe, & yes spending an additional £100 on quality apple cases & screen protectors represents a sound investment.

My opinion is if you're going to spend that kind of cash on your iPhone leather case, you might as well go for the premium Bullstrap MagSafe case. Their quality of leather ages much better than Apple leather, and their Ocean color has a deeper hue than the Midnight. All good cases either way!

Hi Giannis, good question! The leather case does offer a raised edge around the camera unit (also screen), this will protect it from surfaces like when being placed on a table.

Hi, I am leather user as well:). Silicone cases do need their maintenance which will also extend its lifetime. Once or twice per month wash it with luke-warm water and some soft soap. Small stains are easily removed by dishwashing liquid while tougher stains can be removed by the use of isopropyl alcohol or baking soda.

Hi, can I ask a question about the megsafe for iPhone 13? But why did they want to let the metal frame protrude from the edges on the iPhone 13 and 13pro, while on the 13 pro max it is totally covered ?? I these decisions that Apple makes, I find them very questionable. Aesthetically it is so ugly on 13 and 13pro. What then grotesque is that I did not think they were made on purpose in this way but I was very sure that the covers were defective or fake, calling Apple support to understand the matter, they did not even confirm that the frame is normal that it comes out slightly from the edges , but even according to them they were defective or not original Apple, Embarrassing !!
