LA surf punk roots made from some remarkable pop music and especially comes through in this song. Charlotte Caffey was very innovative in combining it all. Under appreciated songwriter and guitarist.

99% sure this concert aired on MTV on a Friday night in 1981. It was one of the first features MTV ever did was air Friday night concerts and the Go-Go’s were one of the first bands that played.

I wish I could go back and see this concert. I love this band and I love that back in the 80s the crowd only pulled out their lighters. Nobody filmed everything on their phone, just so they could never actually watch the video they recorded. These days you can't actually see the band perform, all you see is a sea of smartphones. It sucks. The 80s were awesome.

This is so much fun! My favorite song of theirs too. And it must be unusual too for the current generation of youth to see music actually being created with instruments instead of a computer generated beat or "sample" of another band's song. No voice equalizer software being used either. Again, I wonder if the current generation can understand this?
